This is kind of a tough review because I feel this is a well crafted nail puller/pry bar. My biggest concern is I feel this is really made for light duty only. I pound 3 different sized nails into some wood and attempted to use the nail puller to extract them. One of the claims of the tool is "Precision-honed claws remove embedded or headless nails with minimal damage". I found that to be questionable, especially the part of minimal damage. Trying to extract a finishing nail with a very small head that was embedded flat was only possible by gouging the wood significantly to get the tool to actually grip the head. I also felt that because the tool is very short it was tough to get the leverage required to free the larger nails. If your looking for a light duty tool for pulling a bent nail this can be your go to extractor, but for deeply embedded larger size nails you're probably going to need something that can provide more leverage.

My father was a contractor so I grew up around the trades. As such I have a plethora of tools and some fairly unique pieces but learned that the "gimmicks" never work. This looked a bit like a gimmick to me but it's a good sized nail puller so I thought I'd give it a chance. It worked great. I'm a little surprised but pleasantly so. Some nails are a pain and you need to go at them with the claw of the hammer and some are wedged in places that require a pry bar and inevitably you are in the middle of prying 100 nails and need BOTH tools. This is pretty nice because its the best of both worlds. I was able to pull apart a wall of nails using this and just this without having to switch from hammer to pry bar...that's a big time saver. I'm sure it'll be a bigger time saver when I farm the next session out to my son but this is a great tool to have in the toolbox. It's the best of both worlds and I'm sure in a pinch could work as a small pry bar as well. Most definitely worth the money.
