This is a great tool for removing stubborn deck boards especially if you have a bad back or hard time getting up and down. The handle is large so if you have smaller hands it may be a challenge. While it has a nail puller, the tool would be better with a nail puller on both sides and two different angles.

Incredible tool for removing decking material. Handle is solid Oak and very durable. End jaws work for 5/4 and 1 1/2 material. Also has a Nail puller on the opposite side of the pulling jaws. The handle is a perfect length to create easy leverage to pull deck boards up.We removed all the Decking on a 20 x 21 deck in about 3 hours.Great tool. Highly recommend it. Worth the money.

I bought this for two projects. First is my roof had old slatted wood under shingles that were nailed on. This product was a powerhouse and tore the old wood apart with ease! Had to move it multiple times on one piece to get it off but was simple enough and lightweight enough as well. Next project is a deck in the lake and after using this on the roof I am sure this will save time and get the job done very efficiently! Highly recommend but it is a bit pricey.

Good leverage, sturdy construction. Works well for busting loose top boards on a deck without breaking your back. It truly shines at this task. Only complaint I have is that it will break boards. Seems like the hook could support another inch or two and the boards would pop off without breaking in half. It is not very useful for ledger boards that are close to the ground, which was a bummer as I had about 40ft to remove. At the end of the day, I would buy it again.

Pleasantly surprised that this product is just what it was advertised to be. I was going to tear up some old boards a section at a time but with this tool it went so quickly and almost effortlessly I have all the boards ripped up off a 54' deck in just under an hour. The boards were all 2"x6"x12' and this tool handled them with no problem at all. Now if only it could help take the nails out for ease of disposal. Well worth the price paid, estimate by company to do this work was many times that amount. Very pleased and have already recommended it to others.
