As others have noted, the threads on the banjo bolt are different from the stock Ktm Brembo brake master cylinder. It does work using the bolt included but forget having a brake light. I have not checked but think a banjo bolt from a Japanese brand might work as the thread pitch is different.

I needed a rear master cylinder for my duel sport 525EXC, the master cylinder I received looks right and works but the thread for the brake switch is different. I installed it because I was riding the next day. Be sure your ordering the right parts, not sure what I missed but will be paying a dealership to get the right part.
