This worked perfectly for what I needed it for; However, there are two things you should be aware of. First, this will not of course help in keeping your door open and if on a hill or tilt the door will of course close. Secondly, the pin will rattle if you don't add some plastic or rubber washers to the top and bottom of the rings to make sure there's no play or jingle sound while driving.

Easy to install and a good replacement for the factory installed bar. I’ve had to replace the OEM bar twice now because the metal keeps tearing. This should be the last replacement I need.

I’m very happy with this item compared to the factory one that was on there you don’t have any problems of the wing catches the door and pulls it open where the metal bar pops out but this is just stretches and then pops back. It’s really nice. I’m happy.
