Got these for my 2023 xsr 700 and didn’t worry about the year as it’s the same platform. Now because it doesn’t come with instructions I was confused how to install them. Well I figured it out and it’s really easy! So basically it comes with two rods. Bigger one for the back axle and smaller one for the front axle. The kit comes with two long bolts and two short bolts. The short bolts go on the right side/driver side of the bike and the long ones go on the left/ passenger side. Reason for this is because the rod doesn’t fit all the way through the left side because the axle hole narrows. This is why you use the long bolt on the left so it can reach the rod end. I’d suggest tightening the long bolts on the left first and then install the short ones on the other side. The sliders themselves are all the same so no worries there. When the package comes in it should already have the long and short bolts oriented the right way so it makes sense that the way it is shipped is how they want it installed. This should fit your mt07/xsr700 as long as your front and rear axle look like the ones in the photos. All in all I’m happy for the price knowing that I have that extra bit of protection! Highly recommend!
