I purchased this system believing all the positive reviews and thinking it might save me from buying the expensive pods required. Basically it does work however, sometimes the pods when operational in the machine overdrive or over spin somehow making the machine sound louder, vibrate more as if it were about to take off! This, I believe is what killed not one but two of my Vertuo machines. A solid red light was the indicator that these were stuffed, even after troubleshooting with Nespresso. Luckily, as I have spent a small fortune over the years as a member, Nespresso gave me a brand new machine but with no warranty.I am now very reluctant to use these refillable pods again. Risk it ? Not for me !!!

I drink a lot of coffee and throwing out so many Vertuo pods wasn't sitting well with me, even though I use the recycle bag, I feel it still produces waste, since no recycling program is 100%So i wanted to try these reusable pods to cut down on waste and get the freedom to use whatever coffee I want as a bonus.I must say after nearly 2 months of making multiple cups a day, I really love them. You will have to experiment a bit with the roast you use and how fine or coarse you grind / burr the beans. The best for me is an espresso roast and setting my grinder (it burrs, it has no blades) to 4 out of 15 (with 1 being the finest and 15 being the most coarse.Don't overfill the pod. Shake the coffee in the pod (tap it to level it) until you have a little bit of space between the top of the coffee and the top of the pod.The use a stamper (I use the bottom of a metal coffee scoop I have) to gently press the coffee.Apply the seal sticker and off you go!

I've been using this for a couple of days now and I'm pretty happy with it. It does what it says it will do.

Se ven increíbles, pero el café cae en la bandeja de las cápsulas usadas, no en la taza, y lo que cae en la taza tiene un sabor muy débil. No las compraría de nuevo, no funcionan bien.

This produce works well as a refillable Nespresso Vertuo pod. When paired with the holder/funnel and tamper the process of refilling is rather easy. I've read at least one other review stating this brews a tea like consistency and while that can be true it is most likely due to the way the coffee was roasted, light versus dark, grind size, or maybe even water quality. Some basic understanding of brewing coffee would show this is not the fault of the product. Some things to understand about this product. A .1 gram scale is recommended to weight out the coffee prior to refilling since 10 to 12 grams, depending on the coffee, is all that should be used. Too much coffee will cause the foil to burst, or become unstuck, and will cause issues with the Vertuo machine and inconsistent amounts of coffee will results in inconsistent cups of coffee. Grind whole beans right before refilling the pod. Using preground coffee is not recommended since you can't control the grind size and will not taste nearly as good as fresh ground. When grinding coffee you'll need to find a good grind size. Too course and you won't get a good brew and too fine the machine will struggle have issues. You want a fine-ish grind but not espresso fine. Finally, you need to have the foil cover sealed well otherwise the Vertuo machine will have issues. Some things I do not like which is why I gave 4 stars are. The amount of coffee used per refill is 10 to 12 grams and I find this too little for the amount of coffee brewed. I believe a better amount would be 14 to 16 grams. The settings of the machine are controlled by the barcode on Vertuo pods and the barcode etched on this produce is of some unknown values. While it would be difficult to offer a produce with changeable barcodes it would be nice to have the option to buy a version of the refill pod with values you want. Basically, offer more than one option. The barcode controls values like water amount, brew temperature, and rpms, maybe more. It is unknown if the barcode etched on these refill pods was copied from one of the pods sold by Nespresso or if it is some general, baseline, values. When applying the foil seal you really need to get it as even as possible otherwise if there is too much on one side the barcode can get covered, or, the foil may become unstuck which causes horrendous vibrations. One issue I have is the barcode started to fade and I've had issues with the barcode not getting read. I've found that the foil needs to be properly aligned and I've used black sharpie to darken the barcode which has helped.

These pods work great. I like that they're thick durable stainless steel that can' be punctured and are easy to clean up. Putting the lid on takes a little practice to get it centered correctly, but like anything else practice makes perfect, and it's not that difficult after you get the hang of it. What's more important is finding the right machine, as we could never get these to work with a Nespresso Virtuo Next machine. So we took them along on a visit to my daughter and son-in-law who have a Nespresso Virtuo Plus, and they worked perfectly. It turns out the Next machine is riddled with problems, so we exchanged it for the Plus machine and are happy as a clam. Two tips: to get great flavor and crema, grind your coffee very fine (almost to the point of powdery), and don't pack it into the pod. Just tap the bottom a little to let it settle in without any air pockets, and then skim the excess so the coffee is even with the inside lip that is slightly below the outside rim surface.

I love RECAPS, I have purchased several resealable capsules from them. When I see this reusable capsule for Vertuoline, I immediately purchased 2 packages, total of 4 capsules from them because I am very happy with their classic capsules. I tried it today and after several failures(none a success), I finally gave up. I think the problem is the thickness of capsules. It is way too thick, the machine does not have enough power to rotate and read the barcode so it won't extrude coffee.Another problem of this product is the size of the seal sticker. It is way too big(62mm). Why not just make large enough sticker? There are plenty of space for stickers to stick to the cup! I do not understand the logic of the design at all.I purchased another brand CAPMESSO, I am not familiar with it but this capsule works every time because the capsule is thinner and light. Their sticker is the correct size(57mm) as well. I'll stick with this brand for Vertuoline machines.

The structure of the pods is great. Thick, heavy and I have no concerns of if denting (unless I drop it I could see it denting my floor). When using this pod is is LOUD and the machine rattles some. The silicon inserts I had used to reuse old pods does not fit inside, so the circumference of the pod is small on the inside then the original. The downside is that my machine stopped functioning after using these for about a week. It would only push about 10 drops of water through from the reservoir when I try it now. I am speculating that this was due to these pods, but wanted to post in the event someone else has this issue (currently there are only 7 verified pieces of feedback).I will be trying to find a fix online, and when I do I will post an update.Lastly
