I got these for my wife who has a Series One controller and I thought these would be perfect for her. Since the new XBOX controllers have a smaller battery compartment the batteries are slightly smaller than the older XBOX ONE, XBOX ONE X and the XBOX ONE SLIM controllers. She kept trying to use my XBOX ONE X controller batteries in it, but they don't last that long for some reason and the batteries are kind of tighter fit compared to these. This has a nice battery dock that you can plug the USB cable directly into you XBOX ONE, and it doesn't matter which XBOX you are using, ONE, ONE X, ONE SLIM. It comes with 4 3500 MAH batteries for long hours of gaming, 2 white and 2 black. You can only put the batteries in one way, if they don't light up, then you have them in wrong. You will know as soon as the battery is inserted, and when the battery is low, it will light up red, and when charged it will show green. It comes with a manual to help you put the batteries into the dock.About the battery dock does come with a removable cable , USB on one end and a TYPE C on the other. If you want it longer and have a cable like this, you could use that if you wish too. The price isn't that bad neither for batteries like this for your Xbox as well. Now maybe the wife will leave my batteries alone...lol.Great buy for your Xbox and the Controllers will love it as well. Happy Gaming.

I really like these xbox controller batteries, they are super convenient and easy to use. It fits my Xbox Series X controller very well.Pros:-The base is powered by USB C, no need for a proprietary cable (though it does come with a usb c cable in case you don't have one laying around)-The base design is very simple, not too flashy or odd.-It comes with 4 batteries, if one goes out its pretty easy to swap them out.Cons:-Its not terrible easy to tell what orientation to place the batteries in the base. Once you figure it out its not a big deal, but it could be improved.Neutral:-When fully charged Microsoft reads the batteries at ~94%. After about 1 hour of gaming it dropped by about 6%. If it continues on that average you would get an average of 17 hours of playtime per battery. This is slightly under their advertised 20 to 24 hours of gaming time, but not far enough off that I wouldn't recommend it (who's going to be playing for 17 hours straight with no break to swap a battery?)I'll update if I see any sharp decline in the battery capacity.

Works fine in my Xbox One model 1697 controller, but I'm not seeing much benefit to using these over just getting regular AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. These are slightly more convenient to use and have extra protection against leakage with the case packaging both cells together, but on the other hand you can't use easily use these batteries for other purposes like with AA's. Price wise it's about on par with which 8 NiMH batteries and a charger so at least there's not really a premium for the custom form factor and charger. I think the biggest benefit of these is you don't need to worry about other people stealing the batteries out of your controllers to use elsewhere. Battery cover fits fine over these battery packs.Looks to be about 1300mAh cells (2.8 volts fully charged for the pack) which is quite mediocre for AA NiMH capacity so if long use time is your primary concern I would go with rechargeable AA's instead. Charger works fine with up to all four of the battery packs, but I'm only seeing it taking 1 amp of current at 5 volts max even charger 4 packs instead of the 2 amps stated. Another minor issue is that the positive and negative markings on the pack are backwards, but the actual polarity is correct. Maybe they were trying to match the symbols on the contacts for the controller which are on the opposite side from the pack's terminals? Makes it a bit confusing though.

Two things to get out of the way, right off the top. First, these are Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries, so a much older and less durable battery technology. Second, these are not fully equivalent with Xbox batteries, they can’t be charged in controller (they connect to the alkaline battery terminals, not the LI connector).I can’t tell you how long these last yet because play time is not really the factor, it’s that after even a handful of charges, these will start to lose capacity. I think it was a deliberate omission to leave out technology being used. That said, the batteries work and got me through the end of the new Indiana Jones game, so no other complaints yet.

These will work for your XBOX controller and do a great job. At first I was a little confused how they went in lol. After using my brain I was able to figure it out and they work great. The charger has LED's that are easy to see when they are charging and when they are done. The form factor is small and doesn't take up much space which is wonderful. These are a great add on to anyone that is an XBOX user as having them charged and ready is wonderful. If you are an XBOX user or use an XBOX controller for your PC like I do then these are a must have. I would suggest these to frens and family as they are quality and have a great price. I am an avid gamer and can recommend these, they last a long time for those long gaming sessions and you have extra always on the ready. The small base is great and they look good sitting on my desk. If you are in need of XBOX controller batteries these do a wonderful job, just be sure to put them in the correct way as at first it was a little confusing on which way they went in. Could be a me problem though lol.
