Operation step 1
Set the REC/OFF/PLAY switch to REC.
Operation step 2
- Press and hold the top button. When you hear a single"beep"
- record a message of 30 seconds or less. When you're done, release the top button. A double"beep- beep"signifies a successful recording.
- For best results, Keep the audio source close to the mic.
Operation step 3
Set the REC/OFF/PLAY switch to PLAY.
Operation step 4
- Press the top button to play sounds.
- If you press the top button mid-message, it will stop.
- To rerecord your message, start over at step1.Please note that doing this will delete the current message.
- When you are not using, please turn the switch to OFF

One of the buttons didn’t record properly and I submitted a return request and had a replacement the next day! They are easy to record, recording is as loud and clear as you record it to be. If you mumble, it will be hard to hear, if you speak clearly, it sounds clear. If you want it louder, you speak louder, not rocket science. Sensitive enough for a nose boop or a foot press. Still training though!

I actually returned these because a parent bought me similar ones for my preschool class. They are great!!! The kids are learning letter sounds with these! What a concept!

Nothing negative to say about this product it helped train my pup at 1st I didn't think he would ever use them them he just started he let's me know what he wants if he needs to go potty or just wants to play when he wants a treat or go for a walk. He tells me thank you for a great product

I enjoyed the ease of being able to record my directions. I’m an Elementary School Teacher and use the buttons for my station directions. The 30 second time limit is enough to get my kids working independently. The sound quality is good as my students are able to hear me speak clearly. I did put tape under the record button so that my students didn’t try to record over my directions.

I use these for Maithili my pit bull. She’s around forty pounds and has no problem pushing the buttons but I think these buttons could be harder for smaller dogs. The instructions are clear and to the point. Easy to record and plays loud enough for you to hear a room or so away.

We have several sets of the name brand non-dog branded buttons. We purchases this set to try and compare.This set has far more volume. This sacrifices audio quality and has a large amount of gain, so expect distortion. Fine for my purposes though. The switch to choose between record and play is a FAR better interface than the other brand's side button. Another plus for these.The only complaint is that the button is a little more wobbly. So if my dog taps the side of the button rather than the exact middle, sometimes it doesn't register.
