Decent metal files with a good cross cut for filling any metal especially for initial sharpening and/or getting nicks out of your blade. Since these came without a protective handle you will either need to get one or be careful when using without a handle.I have only limited use with these at this time but they seem to be a decently made and sturdy file, mid grade at best, hence the 4 starts. However, at a pair for under 8 USD I can say that they are well worth the cost of admission and that these are perfect for the typical person who has an axe to grind!

Great quality files for a great price. These are two files get the job done. They're standard unbranded mass produced files but they sharpened my axes in seconds and still look brand new. They're a great size for basic use and function as intended
