This makes soldering much easier on larger copper pipes and semi pitted pipes, been a plumber for 40 years and many plumbers don't know this even exists.

Used this flux with some solder to repair a leak in the radiator on my Farmall M. Worked great, the solder joint looks excellent and the solder flowed perfectly using this flux. Highly recommend it!

I've sweat many copper joints over the years and while 99.9% have turned out leak free, the few that haven't turned into a big PIA. Since every solder joint has to be fluxed, the question isn't "why should I use a tinning flux" but why not. It helps the solder you are applying flow better and helps insure that every joint is leak free. Yes it might cost a bit more but having a solder joint leak is certainly much more expensive and/or time consuming than the few bucks more spent on a flux that contains solder.
