Low odor and easy to apply. Seals pipe threads much better than teflon tape.

I use this a lot on aquarium plumbing and general plumbing. Haven't had a leak yet and it seems fish safe. Highly recommended.

I haven't typically had any luck using liquid pipe dope - especially for anything carrying gases. Usually the pressure in the line pushes its way through the sealant and it eventually leaks.I wound up buying this product on the recommendations put forth in an online forum. I needed to take apart and re-seal some natural gas lines in my basement and needed a product that would be compatible with my combustible gas detector. This stuff worked better than I expected it would. The solvents used in the product don't set off the combustible gas detector and I don't have any more leaks. What was a 2 cubic foot/day leak is now gone. There's not much more to say than that - it does what it's supposed to do and I didn't have to do it more than once.
