Need pants with arming points for them to work. They are also so wide they wouldn't protect the sides of your knees if you managed to get them on.

All us HEMAists know these things. Bog standard Red Dragon knee protection. It is a standard because they just work as intended. Not much to say. Buy these and use them to keep your kneecaps safe. Cheaper than SPES and delivered quickly.

For protection during HEMA competitions and sparring Red Dragon has a reputation for being affordable yet adequate. These fit the bill.

Ignore what it says about stand alone use. Great if you have the sparing pants, or shin guards. Useless if you're doing western fighting and just have basic elbo/knee protection.They constantly fall down because they only have 1 strap. You're better going to home depot and grabbing pads off the shelf.Good knee pads have 2 straps. These do not.
