Redshift makes some unique and high performing products. Their handlebar kit is particularly well designed, especially the bar end grips. The overall kit is well thought out and everything you need is included. The pads make for a much more comfortable set of hand positions. All that being said, you pay a high premium for all of Redshift’s products. Their handlebar kit is perhaps the most overpriced of all.

I put these on my gravel bike. If you are looking for extra purchase for your hands on top and in the drops these work very well. Combine with some quality tape and you get a comfortable ride reducing the numb hands effect.Make sure you take your time when installing on top of the bar. You want to get each side exactly the same to avoid each side being angled differently.

Wow what a difference these can make on super long rides. I struggle with finding good hand positions on rides over 5 hours. This makes it easy to rest my hands in a comfortable position while pedaling over long distances. I used them for my WYO131 mile race in Wyoming, and the on thing that didn’t hurt after 10 hours was my hands and wrists. They install easily and are easy to line up in whatever position you want. This, coupled with the Redshift bar tape make for an awesome comfort pair for gravel biking.

I love gadgets and like upgrading my bikes. I had some pretty serious injuries (broken back, 15 broken ribs and a bunch of other stuff) and on top of that I have never rode in the drops on any bike very much. I’m 6’4 and 260lbs down from 290. Been riding a lot and getting a little more flexible. Have returned my bike to a rigid stem and put some flared bars on. It was still difficult to maintain the lower position due to my hands not being comfortable.Found the drop grip and gave it a whirl. Went on fairly easy. Alcohol in the grip made it easier to slide on. Found out you have to wrap the tape super tight when you start or you get a weird bump under the top of the grip.Will take a little more adjust to get the angle right 45* was too steep for me.They look and feel good. People will think and ask if you put old people grips on your drop bar bike, oh well I’m comfortable now.The pic shows the bump I was talking about if the tape isn’t wrapped really tight. Excuse the old tape, not ready to replace just yet?

I recently ordered the Redshift cruise control drop bar grips for road bikes and I promptly lost the tightening screws. I sent an email to their customer service & received a quick response telling me that they would send a replacement. The next thing I knew I had received the wayward screw in the mail. I’ve only had the grips for a couple of rides, but I do seem to notice a difference with less strain on my hands. Thanks, Redshift!

Great item to had comfort to your ride. Eliminated all numbness in my hands after first ride..110km of mix gravel and road.. very impressed with the product. Took my time to install carefully.. reinstalling the bar tape was the most difficult part.. Will be ordering for my road bike!!

I've been riding road bikes for 35 years and only found out these exist recently. I saw it on a Youtube video on the Cade Media channel. At $40 it seems a bit expensive, but I know Redshift makes unique, high-quality, but expensive products.I unwrapped my bar tape back to the brake hoods, installed these, and rewrapped the tape. The tape stopped about one inch further away from the stem than before. Redshift also sells extra long tape which would solve this problem.If you like riding on the tops of your bars, these make it twice as comfortable. It's that simple. Now I'm going to buy a set for my touring bike. Worth every penny.

En complément de la potence redshift, j’ai installé cet ensemble pour améliorer le confort sur le vélo sur de longues distances (400 - 600 km) pour éviter d’utiliser des prolongateurs que je trouve lourds pour le peu d’utilisation qu’on en fait (pas en groupe, inutile en descente technique voire en côte). Par contre ces éléments ont une excellente prise en main tant en bas du guidon pour limiter la prise au vent qu’en haut dans les ascensions. Vraiment bien. !

I must confess I initially felt this was a dumb accesory for my road bike. The kind of thing only obsessive fanatics buy. I am happy to report I was dead wrong, this is among my top 10 accessories I've put on my rig and I cannot imagine not having it any more. Great ergonomics, providing support on medium- to-long trips, outer bones in my hands don't get wrecked anymore and the extra grip is more than welcome. Easy to install, excellent value. I love this thing.

It is very comfortable when you go for a 100 + ride.The material is good.Description is clear and easy to understand.I recommend a stretchable bar tape on the handle.
