I’ve got a 5X8 utility trailer and decided it was time for a trailer jack. I noticed this one rated for 2000 lbs. it was realy easy to mount, 4 bolts and nuts, a 9/16s wrench and 9/16s socket and ratchet and 10 minutes it was done, it’s heavy duty and I believe I’ll get many years service. From what I’ve seen, Would I buy it again. Yes I would.

I purchased this for my 8x10 dump trailer. Easy to put on and easy to use. This top wind mechanism is way better that the side mounted ones that can strip gears or snap the shear pin and leave you hanging. Price for similar in local stores is typically 25-35 dollars more so the value here is awesome. On top of it all, most of the other brands want the same money for HALF the weight capacity! Spend less, get double the weight capacity, and get a tough and reliable product. This is by far the best deal out there.

I replaced the jack on my trailer with this jack and it is absolutely the best. The old Jack worked fine but if the handle was in the wrong position and you lower the tailgate it would smash your tailgate. I took off the old stationary jack and installed this bolt on so that the tailgate will drop down and never come in contact with the jack. The jack folds up running parallel with the frame with one simple pull of the spring loaded bolt. I put two of them on the tongue of my 7000 pound car hauler and I have the option to use one or both for the extra heavy load. They are very sturdy and work excellent.

I read other reviews. Here is what I saw:1) THE PACKAGING ISSUE IS RESOLVED. Came very well packaged. Probably the best packaging for any similar item Ive ever had shipped to me. Expansion foam all around the jack.2) ALL HARDWARE WAS INCLUDED. 4 bolts and 2 brackets. It's all that's required to install. The bolt-on jack itself was easy to install. Its fresh on my boat trailer so I cannot speak to longevity. The top wind mechanism is more ergonomic in my opinion. Goes up and down very quickly and with less stooping down. The swing up mechanism feels very sturdy ans locks well both up and down. 10/10 would buy again.PS- 1 reviewer said this would not fit on a 2.5 inch by 2.5 in frame. I dont see how it wouldnt fit.

I replaced what could only be a jack designed by someone with an IQ under 90 and specified for use on a trailer by someone that drives a compact car. You know, the A-frame jack that fits in a round hole in the hitch behind where the ball clamps in. First off, you cannot open your truck tailgate when one of those pieces of crap is on there. The tailgate gets a dent. No I didn't find out the hard way but I am sure many have. How STUPID. No one that tows a trailer owns a truck I guess. Second those jacks don't swivel up meaning you have to crank them all the way up and then all the way down. How STUPID. This jack is great, feels high quality, smooth to crank under load and easy to install. I put it on the inside of the A frame of the trailer so it is more out of the way and positioned it so it can swing without hitting hitch or the trailer with the least amount of cranking so now it is almost ready to lift as soon as it swings down.
