Was the fix for our CF E error code on the LG fridge. Our other fam wasn’t working properly and this was the same fan just a longer cord we zip tied up.

I purchased this replacement motor along with another motor that was cheaper. I installed the cheaper motor and it just didn’t work. Seemed that it wanted to but didn’t get the power needed to start from the fridge. I used this model instead. I tried to save a few bucks and it cost me 2hrs.If you have a newer model LRMV the fan housing just wont come out. Don’t waste your time like I did for a couple hours. It is easier to remove the bolts as is using the a Philips bit or a tight space ratchet. Take down the drain tube pop out the screws and replace the motor. Tied up any excess cable and replace drain tube. This can be a 45minute end to end job. And test your motor before installing. Plug in the 4pin and start the fridge and let go through the start up sequence and the fan should turn on.

Fan does not fit on mounting plate . Had to take plate out and grind it down to make it fit also screws do not tighten up correctly . . Would not buy again.

My fridge was giving me a code and this is what it found.It was not cooling .Properly freezer or fridge.This surprisingly fixed everything.

This unit matched up perfectly to the mounting plate for my LG Model LRMDS3006S/01. The wire loom was longer than the original fan, so I just wired tied the extra out of the way. This fan comes with the blade attached which other OEM fan motors don't come with and are more expensive. You can reuse the old fan from the motor being replaced, however it's nice to be able to just put this one in as a complete unit.
