Outside of the fan being a little noisy at higher speeds, it does work really well. Needed this for a room on the far end of the house that's furthest from the AC and it helps a ton with getting the air to that space. The remote makes it super nice and handy. The only feature that would be nice in one of these would be wifi to link it to my home assist to be able to turn it on and off when the AC kicks on/off. But I can't ding this for that since it does great at what it's made for.

Wow. I'm actually really impressed by how well this works. I didn't have high expectations for it but it works wonders in my bedroom. I got this because the floor register in the master bedroom was the only room in the house that wasn't pushing heat through the room. Despite my thermostat being set at 72 degrees Fahrenheit the bedroom was still running at a cool 64 degrees. I plugged in this register, swapped it out for my old one and within the hour, the temperatures balanced out the way they should. The fans made a weird clinking sound at first for some reason but it stopped after awhile. Since I placed this in my floor, I had two issues. One issue is the buttons on the register aren't exactly designed to deal with heavy foot traffic. And the other issue is that this must be plugged in to work. The cord does not have a hole that it is specially supported to run through. This means the power cord gets sandwiched between the register itself and the edges of my duct. I wish there was a hole drilled alongside the register to run the power cord through it. Other than that? No issues really. It works well and it looks nice.

cord is a bit short - and/or my house stinks (high ceilings, poor plug positionssomeone who owned my house prior built an addon - part of why I got the place...of course they didn't upgrade the hvac and it's the farthest distant space on the hot side of the house (go figure) so this has been added to that vent that's just above (and behind) my work from home officea downside here is normal hvac vents are vaned (to direct the air) and this is straight downper vine have to review w/in 30 days but it won't get 'fully hot' here until july/augustseems to pull/push a lot of air at the highest speeds - but blowing while testing in the kitchen isn't helpful to real work (in situ) type valueprice 39 (march 2025; tho prices tend to vary) - seems a bit expensive...it's really just a plastic grille with two 12v fans behind...and they're not quiet fans (but not overly noisy either) - if your hvac vents can be heard now it's unlikely the additional 'white noise' will be all that distracting - I don't know about your vents and registers but mine are noisy (also we have the spare bedrooms closed because we never use those spaces any more - so we're likely pushing too much through these vents)kind of weird how the fans work...they tend to ramp up and down rather than just turning offremote has more features than the buttons on the device - but that's good b/c you can't (or may not be able to) get up there easily to hit buttonsthings I like: can turn off the illuminated buttons and display - can shut off the beeps with button presseswhat I don't like is: going to install this and finding the guys who built this addon used SQUARE VENTS - and I feel like such a dope for not going and looking...so I'm not quite sure where we'll put this at presentsuffice to say after fiddling with it, it's an exceptional fan - but now I have to find a square one - LOLMoral of this review is: measure twice, or minimally look once - also there' s a good 3" behind the vent that's needed to be clear for the two side by side fans which protrude in

I'm genuinely impressed. It's perfect for rooms that never seem to reach the right temperature, especially those with lots of windows or located far from the HVAC system. The installation process was straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer. If you're reasonably handy, you'll have no trouble getting it set up. Once installed, the performance is excellent. The remote control feature is extremely convenient, allowing adjustments from anywhere in the room. With multiple speed settings, it's easy to find just the right airflow level. The built-in thermostat automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the room's temperature, providing efficient and consistent comfort. It's also much quieter than I anticipated—while you'll notice it at high speeds, it’s not intrusive.

Oh my gosh!!! I am sooooooo glad I stumbled upon this!!! My son's room is the coldest in the winter and the hottest in the summer. I figured that we'd try it! It was less than 2 seconds to put on the floor register and may take 5 min or less .. depending on the person for a wall/ceiling register. The fan settings are great! Level 10 is the highest level and it was blowing powerful! I was surprised! It definitely brings a lot more air from the vent into his room. He can definitely tell a difference!

I had one of these in my old home and it was awesome, but we didn't bring it with us when we moved. We now live in a single story home and my husband hates to be cold -- anything under 75 and he's wrapped in blankets. I, on the other hand, am going through perimenopause and I think 68 F is the perfect temp. This helps rooms cool off in the summer (like upstairs rooms where the hot air rises in the summer) even when the downstairs is cooler (on one HVAC system). Or in the winter when the heat is on and some rooms don't warm up enough because they are at the back of the house, or whatever reason.Rooms with lots of windows with the hot sun beating in are examples of rooms that might need one of these.
