Great size, great quality and quantity. If done right, they're 100% reusable, although after a few re-uses it's best to just retire them. Much nicer than the bags you'd get from a local store when you buy ice.

First things first, this isn’t going to be leak proof since the title of the product says drawstring so right then and there, don’t expect any of the water that’s melted to stay in the bag. Water will find a way as that’s what water does. That said, it was durable and managed to hold at least what I eyeballed to be about 8lbs. I don’t have any machine that can weigh 8lbs and I wasn’t going to bring a scale with me when I get ice but it felt durable and lasted well despite being thrown around in the cooler or throw on the ground to break up chunks to fit in the cooler. It is thin enough for whatever needs to be kept cold in your multi day cooler but also thick enough that it should not puncture at the slightest pressure.

Reli. Plastic Ice Bags 8lb (60 Pack) Cotton Drawstring | 11" x 19" Ice Bags Reusable | Heavy Duty Ice Bags for Ice Machine | Clear Ice Bags for Storage | Freezer Safe | 1.5 Mil Thick Ice BagFirst impressions: Nice good sized bags, patterned with the word “ice”. The top of the bag has a drawstring to close it. The bags are thick and easy to fill.Installation/setup: Fill with ice to keep in your freezer.Final thoughts: I got these because I have a small ice machine and no place to put the ice that it makes. I have been keeping it in a bowl but the ice starts tasting funny after a couple days. I put the ice in these bags and use the drawstring to keep the bag closed to keep the ice fresh and ready to use. The drawstring makes them reusable. I like these and I’m glad I got them.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

I have a counter top ice maker, and seem to go through a ton of bags to store the ice I make. And use even more of them when I make ice to put in coolers for travel. These are a fantastic alternate option, that hold a ton of ice, and also keep it securely stored without any leaking or mess.

To start with, these are ice bags like you get at retail stores, so my review is based on that comparison. These ice bags remind me of the ones I have seen much of my life at gas stations and liquor stores. While I didn't weight to match, they state being able to hold 8 pounds of ice and that seems about right. They’re perfect for filling up for your cooler when at a picnic or camping. While not the thickest bags around, they’re definitely sturdier than typical plastic storage bags and hold up well when I fill them up. The top drawstring works well, just like the ice bags of my youth, but you could twist tie them if you are trying to seal the bad. The plastic feels durable, and I have had no issues with them tearing or leaking when upright but if they sit on the side the melted ice will leak out. Overall, I didn’t realize how much I wanted these bags until I got them!

These bags remind me of the bags I would get at the ice machine when I was younger, right down to the cotton pull string on the opening. I would say these are a standard size ice bag. I filled a couple of them up and put them in the freezer. That way next time we go out or to a picnic I will just grab one or two of these to throw in the cooler. The bags themselves are not super heavyweight but definitely stronger than plastic storage bags. These remind me exactly of the bags we used to get with ice in them when I was growing up. The price is very reasonable($13.50 a pack; .22 cents each) especially because some places charge upwards of five dollars for one bag of ice; these are huge savings. It was nice that they came in folded together in a small bundle. This is nice as I just put them in the freezer next to the ice cube tray. I did not know that I wanted or needed these until I got them and they’re great!

I was meant to receive a 60 pack of these bags, but instead I got a box containing two 60 packs for a total of 120. I am pretty sure I will never need another ice bag for many years to come. The bags are well packed for storage and easy to separate when needed.1.5 mil plastic is pretty thick for an ice bag, and does not feel like the bag is about to tear when picking it up. The draw strings work as designed, and will keep frozen ice contained. Obviously this is not 'water tight' so if the ice melts it will leak out, but that's really on you at that point.
