I have an older GoPro, so I knew going in I wasn’t going to be able to use all of the features. It does work as a remote perfectly fine though, which is what I got it for. I was able to sync it easily and with just a push of the button it starts recording. Helpful when you don’t have direct access to the device, and I can’t always use my phone. I’m excited to try out the other features when I upgrade to a newer version.

I cannot say how much I love this item, and how useful it is for me! So, first of all, I was curious if this is a replaceable battery, or a rechargeable device when I ordered it, but I was very happy to know that that comes not only as a rechargeable, but it charges with USB-C, meaning im able to keep all devices the same when it comes to their charging type.When this item arrived and I turned it on, the screen was very easy and straightforward to read. The top left displays the remote battery life while the top right displays the gopro battery life. The bottom left shows what mode the gopro is on, and the bottom right shows relative info to the mode (recording/images/etc).The remote paired instantly, so it was hard to say if i actually needed to make my way to the bluetooth section on the camera or not, making this so easy to connect that it made me chuckle.This item also comes with a usbc charger, as well as a loop to place this on your wrist. I was a little bummed to see that this didnt come with a wrist strap (like a watch), but one more quick look and low and behold they included one!!I cant tell you again how much this small device helps, especially when I have my mic setup, which makes the cord cover the power button. Now I can go full rig without any hassle!

It looks like a regular smartwatch, charges quickly with USB type C, connected easily and quickly to my camera and functions quite well. Very easy to read and see screen as well. I use this to start & stop recordings while i ride motorcycle. Highly recommend! And so much cheaper than the GoPro official remote. Battery life is also great.

This paired quickly in under 10 seconds and I was off recording volleyball games without having to run to the end of the court and start/stop the camera. It just works.I prefer this over the official GoPro remote because: 1. Price. 2. visual feedback and modes on the remote and 3. Range. 4. AccessoriesThis is WAY cheaper than the original and it works just as well. The visual feedback on the remote itself is great. I can tell exactly what mode I"m shooting in, how much battery life there is left, etc... so much easier than suffering through battery anxiety or wondering if I started when I can't see the blinking light on the camera. The range is also good. I usually hae this at the end of the volleyball court and I'm in the bleachers or on the sideline. No issues with connectivity at all. The remote comes with a wrist band and a wrist loop thing.The downside is that this remote is NOT waterproof so dry use only!

If you’re close this works. If you try to go the advertised range you won’t get even close to it. The signal drops and you’re left without any controls or readings from your gopro. This got returned for the poor range despite its advertised range

Its easy to use and a good price. I setup my GoPro9 Black on the tripod preparing for a test shot. I was using it within 5 minutes. I mainly need it for starting and stopping the camera without touching it and jeopardizing my setup. One can also install it on a camera stick, so its versatile for use as well.
