The Reno adjustable hitch is a very heavy duty and very well made bumper hitch. It has a 2-in shank that fits perfectly into the receiver without a lot of loose play. The quality of materials is superb. Although it's aluminum it is very robust and heavier than expected, that's a good thing. I have a aluminum adjustable hitch from another manufacturer and it is just plain sloppy, movement and noise are almost unbearable at times. This is a very solid well built hitch that has zero slop and zero noise when towing. I got the 8 inch drop hitch because my motorhome sits rather High and I need a drop hitch to tow my Jeep behind the motorhome and keep the tow bars level. The high security keys were kind of surprising, I really wasn't expecting this high of security locking mechanism. Fit and finish is superb and I doubt you find a better made product at this price point heck even a more expensive hitch probably would be a waste of money. I highly recommend

My husband almost had tears in his eyes when I showed him my recent find on Amazon! Who knew that something as simple as an auto part could make my guy choke up with a frog is in his throat and “allergy tears” in his eyes?! lol! He said Wow that’s Beautiful! And after looking it over myself I have to concur that it is pretty brilliant!He loves how easy it is to flip the different balls over depending on if he’s towing a trailer, our camper or boat. And he really loves the locking ball key lock to keep it from being lost or stolen. One observation he noticed right after his allergy eyes stopped tearing up was he said that it needed a receiver hitch lock. I said Excuse me? What is that? He said the lock that comes with this hitch is to keep the balls from growing legs and walking off so to speak. But he said the part that it really needs is a trailer hitch receiver pin lock or as he calls it a hitch pin lock.Without having a receiver hitch pin lock then someone could easily walk up and even though your ball is locked into place that will not keep it from being stolen as without that hitch pin receiver lock in place anyone could just pull out the unlocked pin and just take the whole hitch and ball trailer hitch and put it on their truck! He said this from experience as it has happened to us before! So he’s a stickler for not just locking down the ball hitch but locking down the receiver hitch lock too. Fortunately those can be purchased almost anywhere for $20 or less which is a small price to pay to keep this beautiful trailer hitch on your own truck!Other than that he absolutely loves it and he would love to have another on his other truck he uses for the camper or the boat!
