When the thermostat went out of our freezer, we lost a lot of our frozen goods inside. Then we ordered this new thermostat for under $40.00, my husband replaced the old one with the new thermostat as it just snaps into the back side bottom of our freezer. In just about a day, the freezer was back to normal temperatures again and we were able to use it.

When these defrost timers go out the coils ice up and then you have no cooling. Easy replacement and now the old Kenmore is working like new.

This timer was a perfect fit as a replacement. Fifteen minutes and our freezer was up and running again. Much cheaper - and faster - than a service call (they come out day 1 to diagnose the issue then come back 5-10 days later to perform the actual repair … what???)
