The LASE PRX 700 / PRX 800 control panel is simple and neatly laid out, with the user controls being restricted to power, a rotary level control, and a pair of push switches for selecting 'EQ' Boost/Flat settings or Line/ Mic sensitivity. There are two XLR connectors, one for signal input and one for link out, so that additional speakers or systems can be daisy‑chained. The input socket is one of those handy 'combi' types, and will accept either a three‑pin XLR or a standard jack plug (balanced or unbalanced). Bought this to replace an amp module in a PRX718XLF subwoofer. Fits the sub and moves air, but be warned all low pass filtering will have to be done on the signal before it gets to the amp. The amp only has a 3 band EQ and high pass, no low pass.

I decided to purchase an aftermarket module instead of an OEM module because for a couple of hundred dollars more I could've just bought a new powered speaker. We already have enough stuff in our landfills, so I decided to purchase an after-market module instead. Is it better than the original? Probably not, but it's not bad either, and it was half the price. I use this speaker as a floor wedge, so it does the job. Will it last as long? Only time will tell. Very easy to install.
