Very happy with this replacement cable. I prefer the mute on the cord vs using the flipping headset. I feel like it’s easier and the quality is great.

And that's the best possible review I can write. I needed this to connect my mom's soundbar to the TV and it's working perfectly. Love the braided cable, long enough for what I needed, and connects with a satisfying snap. The sound doesn't pop or crackle.

only thing it doesnt do is indicate on your mix amp weather or not you are muted but other then that it works great

I apparently had at least one broken wire in my original headset (A40) cable as I was having mic issues so I needed to replace the cable. When I received this one it appeared to be nearly the exact same cable as the one I had to replace and it's been working like a charm.

This doesn’t have a way to turn down your headset. That is the only downfall. It is very durable and gives off great sound in the headset. The length is about average.

After a couple months the cord started to mute the microphone and cause static each time the cord moved in the slightest. Another month in, it permanently muted the mic. But for the price it wasn't bad as a disposable cord.

It’s the perfect length and looks about right. It worked correctly with zero static and good enough sound quality. The mute button seems a little fragile. Aside from that no issues. Very affordable replacement.

My headset (different brand) had the cable damaged and I wasnt able to find a replacement cord. This cord was a perfect fit, did exactly what my old cord did, saved a pair of expensive gaming headphones...

Has a functional mute button, had to order from three different sellers in total till I got one with a functional mute button, as the other would mismatch the volume wheel, and the mute, and I received the volume wheel, and once got an empty amazon bag as well. Works great so far will update if it breaks within a year or so.

This is a good replacement for the stock astro a40 cord. My daughter runs over her cord with her chair or bends it somehow and they stop working. This worked just like the oem one she broke. Would buy again....but hopefuly she stops breaking them
