My cub cadet lawnmower had horrible buffers on the seat. After mowing (a tad over an acre) my lower back ached for two days. These springs made a huge difference. After a trip to the hardware store for bolts and washers installed in 30 minutes. For all those lawnmower aching backs, this helps.

Unless you weigh over 200 lbs, this is not the ticket.

What came with the mower from the factory is garbage. Those "buffers" are made of a polymer that is so stiff, you literally feel every, single bump in your yard. Do your back a favor--install these on your ZT-1 Mower. Make sure you order the spring caps that fit these. Grasshopper part # 422127-4

I got these for a riding mower where the OEM springs were not stiff enough and only 2" high. These springs are much stiffer and 3" high. I'm 240lbs and these are a little too stiff but it's not a deal breaker. I mowed once with these installed and it wasnt too bad.

Very good replacement springs. Way better quality springs then the ones that came with my zero turn lawn mower.

I purchased these springs for my John Deere L100 lawn tractor. I have a really bumpy lawn with lots of tree roots.Look at the difference between the OEM springs (black spring) and the replacements. Even though they are quite a bit heavier and somewhat different they still fit nicely. However, to replace them you will need two large washers so the original bolts will hold them down. The installation was simple and the fit is good.

I bought these to replace the plastic “springs” on my Cub Cadet Ultima Z1 zero turn. My body was taking a beating every time I hit a bump. Enough already! After a trip to YouTube, some elbow grease, and one half hour of putzing around, the springs were installed. The difference in ride due to metal springs makes the installation worthwhile. Delivery was fast and the springs suited my needs. I am very satisfied.
