I made the mistake of buying this knockoff replacement part instead of the brand version. That was a mistake because it broke within a few uses. I went back to the more expensive brand version and it hasn’t failed me.

I was searching for a replacement part for my Meile. Most of the replacement hoses online were used and I suspect they were from decommissioned vacuum cleaners. So this new one will have a longer life and it was a perfect fit for my upright. Very happy with this purchase.

We have had our Miele vacuum for several years, and absolutely LOVE it, but a few weeks ago we noticed it had lost suction, and when we investigated we saw that the hose had quite a few cracks where it joins the handle. It sounds like from other reviews that this is a fairly common problem. That part of the hose gets a lot of use.We were really excited to find this replacement, and it was very simple to attach it to our vacuum. There are only two reasons why I deducted one star from my review:1.) The replacement hose is not as thick or sturdy as the original Miele hose. It's the basic accordion hose material that you find on most vacuum cleaners. It's not as a reinforced or luxe feeling as the Miele. This makes me wonder a little bit about the longevity but it will probably work perfectly well and I'm just nitpicking. The real issue is that this more standard hose is louder than the Miele hose was. Not unbearably loud, but definitely not as quiet as the original hose had been. Not a deal breaker for us but something to keep in mind.2.) The handle itself is not as finally tooled as the Miele one. It's a little rough at the seam and feels a bit cheaper. You can buff out the roughness with a little bit of sandpaper or a metal file if it bothers you. It's just not as smooth as the original.The bottom line--Neither of these cons affects the performance of the vacuum and we are very pleased to have found a replacement available.

I bought this in August. It's already broke. It's come apart where the hose is joined to the pipe that joins the hoover.I wouldn't recommend. Will be asking for my money back.

Besides slightly different color in plastic, a couple plastic molding artifacts, and a different quality/construction of the hose "coil", it is an excellent replacement. The hose is slightly thinner material and less rigid. The OEM rigidity with it's harder coil memory caused it to delaminate (see pics). This was easy to swap out (no fit issues like someone else mentioned). Installed in seconds. Tested. Successful and maintains good suction power when the handle, extended hose and wand was used on my stairs reaching up 7 steps or so. Great value. Also, this was to replace the failed part (7-8 years old?) on my Miele Dynamic U1 Power Plus unit. I was ready to order an OEM at full price and return this but I'm keeping this and the savings.

Couldn't figure out why my vacuum was losing suction the more I stretched out my hose. Found out the hose had ripped. This was a great replacement and we're back in business! So you could say this product really "sucks."

I made the mistake of reaching the wand up to my top step and the whole hose fell apart. I searched for Miele replacement hoses and could not find any that specified Dynamic U1 model. This one looked about right, so I took a chance and ordered it. It fit perfectly. My vacuum was fixed in about 30 seconds. Yay!

My mom somehow managed to mangle her hose and needed a replacement. I found this one and it was reasonably priced so we decided to try it out. It was easy to attach and seems to work great. My mom is pleased and so am I. Good value and seems to function like OEM equipment.
