this product GENUINELY works wonders. i was having trouble keeping my humid hide for my gecko moist enough and her colors were dull for about a week. (i’m a new leopard gecko owner and this was her first shed!) i knew she wasn’t supposed to be that dull for that long so i ordered this hide and it came the next day (i have a prime subscription :P). i put the hide in and added water into the ceramic bowl along with some dry spagnum moss inside the hide, within just one day the spagnum moss moistened and in two days she shed! (she’s vibrant in color now). as i’m writing this review the spagnum moss has stayed moistened so ill never have to worry about her next shed as long as that bowl has water in it 🥳.

This is much larger than I was expecting - it’s awesome. Nice heavy, well made item with a terra cotta dish for the top. The terra cotta dish is like the saucer for the bottom of a pot for plants so probably could be easily replaced if needed. The cave itself is very realistic looking with some heft to it. I was pleasantly surprised.

This reptile hide cave is lovely. It’s a bit bigger than I had expected, I’m ok with it. The three parts are all well made and fit together moderately well. The paint is well done and as a whole it looks really cool. It is certainly a lot easier to clean up the leftover food from the little guy. I would certainly recommend this lovely decoration.

This hide is a good size especially for crested or leopard gecko and will work great. It looks pretty realistic. This particular one came with a little offsetting on the top clay holder dish which it leans just slightly but is not a issue. Wonderfully good looking and greatly made hide.

Heavy resin but thin-ish walls on the log. The inside contours are irregular, following the outside contours, so if you have to wash it I anticipate this being annoying. However, I like the look of it- the texture and paint job is good, and the fact that it's an open cylinder when the top inset terra cotta dish is out means I can use this to conceal my water pump for my paludarium.
