I don't use it frequently but the product seems durable every time I use it. The main thing to worry about is making sure you attach it well to a secure surface. Pulling out the line is not super smooth but doesn't feel like it pull jam at the moment.

I bought this Telescopic Clothesline for my laundry room, and it’s perfect! The anti-drooping design with a locking knob lets me adjust it up to 13.7 feet, and it retracts easily to save space. Made with sturdy ABS shell and rust-proof stainless steel wire, it’s durable for indoor or outdoor use. Installation was simple with nail-free adhesive or drilling options. Great for hanging clothes, towels, or delicate items—highly recommend!

I was in need of a way to hang up delicate clothes that cant be ran thru the dryer in the winter time. This clothesline was the answer, it works great for me to hand a couple shirts at a time up to dry during the cold winter months. The catch mechanism and way it can be tensioned work well and maintain a good tight line that doesnt sag much at all even with several mens shirts hanging on it.

I am a single dad and I live alone with my 8 year old, so space is limited and laundry day was normally such a nightmare because I was having to find space to fold all of both our clothes. I came across these while looking for Christmas presents not too long ago and thought it was perfect, but I was kind of on the fence about how good it was going to work. I definitely wouldn’t have installed it if I had any doubts after opening, so needless to say I’m pretty stoked with how well built this thing is. Both wall plates have actual legit thick metal plates that are behind the gray boxes we see, and the hardware for the wall like the screws and the drywall anchors are super nice and thick so it really adds some reassurance that it isn’t going to just rip out of the wall. I will say though, absolutely 100% do NOT use this without the wall anchors. Those are the little plugs you hammer in before you screw the metal plates to the wall. The cable is a little tight to pull, but I just went slowly and didn’t hear or see anything concerning so I lined everything up and installed the other plate. My room isn’t huge but it’s definitely not small, I’ve got a king size bed with room for a nightstand and then some on each side, and this reaches no problem. I’d like to say at least 15 feet maybe? I’m not sure how long this is exactly but I was pretty impressed it went that far no problem. Once you get everything in place and get the cable locked and stuff, it feels significantly stronger than I was expecting so that’s definitely a good thing. It means it doesn’t sag as much at all, and it’s rated for up to 15kg of weight (33 pounds) but I haven’t pushed it anywhere near that. I am just renting so I am probably a little extra paranoid because this thing feels like it can handle the weight for sure so we’ll have to keep testing and find out. If there are no updates to this review, nothing catastrophic happened lol.

I don't have the luxury of having a lot of space. This wall mounted clothesline is perfect to put in my bathroom. It can extend a long clothelines (around 13.5 ft). You can tighten it with the big knob, then lock it in place with the other one. Once done, unlock and retract and it disappears!I recommend using screws to mount on the wall, and not using it for extremely heavy items such as coats and jackets. But for your usual loads, t-shirts, underwear etc. it works fantastic. Pants are OK too as long as they are not saturated in water. Overall it all depends how well you attached it to the wall, I recommend choosing a location where you can secure it into a stud behind the wall (use a stud finder).Highly recommended for those of you who don't have a lot of space
