I'm a carpenter by trade, but a welder when my tools and equipment need repair. I love the size of these. Maybe I've always used gloves that are to big, but these aren't ultra bulky and fit my medium size hands well. I'm sure it will be a long, long time before they need replacing (especially with my infrequent use), but I wouldn't hesitate to order again.

These have been my favorite gloves for stick welding. I started with Harbor Freight ones, and have tried Tillman's and some others, but none have felt as nice as these. The yellow leather on the back of the hands are some of the most supple and soft I've felt. Front hand/palm side provides good protection and movement, and the Nomex is a great added layer of protection.Price is a little higher compared to similar offerings from other brands, but a pair lasted me roughly 3 months of welding and handling hot metal daily for 4-6 hours. I felt very convinced that these were rebranded Tillman's but the Tillman's I have now seem a step lower in quality. Could be a bad batch? Not sure but I will get these again in the future

My son in law uses these to weld and his son used them even just today (he welds too).

Arrives two days early, seemed halfway decent but only lasted 1 month before the palm and fingers started developing holes.

I have worn these gloves for years now. Hands down the best! I don’t think twice about a different pair. Extremely comfortable and the dexterity is amazing for a thicker glove. Highly recommend.

The gloves they give us to use at the company I work for are ok, but do not last very long, nor do they have good heat protection. I got a pair of these from a friend to try and they are the best I have ever used. I weld 1/16 flux core @30 volts and 300 IPM wire speed. It gets hot on a long pass (sometimes I will run a 3 foot pass on a 6 pass weld) and these are the best I have used. They last me about 2 - 2&1/2 months with heavy use. Longer if I am just welding standard MIG. Great dexterity, comfortable, does not wrinkle under high heat. I weld for 10+ hours a day and for 6 days a week during the summer months and these never let me down. But, like anything else that is used heavily, these will need replacing. So far, I am on my second pair in 4 months and the current pair is still going strong. I do not handle material with these, they will fail faster if you do. I change into another glove for material handling/fitting and use these strictly for pouring wire.

Purchased these back in June 14 and just started to use them while adding wood to woodburning stove and so far I've been very happy with the performance.they protect from heat pretty good and for more than a few seconds depending on the temperatures.the only negative is that I've noticed they have shrunk a little I'm guessing from how hot the wood stove is but not completely sure When I first started using them I had a little room at the end of the fingers but now they r somewhat tight so since I really think they are good gloves I plan on ordering another pair but going a size up this time to large.
