This product is poorly designed. There are few drainage holes and it results in more spillage of the rice or Quinoa than washing by hand.

I use it to rinse quinoa, sprouts, vegetables, and fruit. I got the small, I'll probably get the large also.

The holes are high on one end. I guess when I get used to it it will be fine. But it came very dirty. I just hope it will clean up. The size is good, will hold lot of rice or other veggies.

One of the most useful gadgets in my kitchen. Washing produce is simplified. No more stuff flying over the side of the water bowl when tipping to drain. Side drain holes is the great design feature. Wish I had this decades ago. Now when I wash an apple or a handful of asparagus it’s not a splash fest.

Product was used to rinse rice with water and drain water out before placing it in a rice cooker. It was easy to drain water out without losing the rice by its smaller holes and by the special slanted bottom that allows it to sit on the bottom of my flat sink without having to pick it up and shake the water out.

Works well for rinsing and straining rice, fruit and other foods. The textured bottom is a nice touch to help clean and rinse rice quickly, and the holes on the drain area are small enough that no rice is lost. I only wish there were more drainage holes as sometimes the rice blocks the holes and causes the water to drain a bit slowly.
