Ridgid R2401 Laminate Trim Router has electronic feedback for consistent speed and power. This trimmer features a LED light to illuminate the work area for increased visibility, an overmold grip for maximum comfort as well as a lighted plug to easily identify live tools. The round and square bases provide added versatility and convenience. This trimmer has an easy access micro adjust dial for precise depth control, and a spindle lock for easy bit changes. The flat top router sits upside down for easier bit changes, and the no-mar top has an overmold on top of router to prevent marring of work surface. This trimmer is equipped with a quick release lever to allow for easy removal of the motor from the base, and electronic feedback for consistent speed and power. The variable speed allows for easy adjustment of the speed to the material type and application. Works well have one I bought two plus years ago use every day in cabinet shop just time to replace had two other off brands Thad did not preform nearly as well went back to what works

El paquete contiene, el router una guía paralela, un adaptador para recolección de polvo, la llave del collet y una fresa de rebaje, el router es increíble, se siente de buena calidad el peso adecuado para trabajos versátiles, me encantó 10/10

This is my third Ridgid trim router but something's up with this order. I obviously like them. All my other ones came in a Ridgid box with a nice Ridgid branded canvas storage bag to hold the tool and accessories.This one came in a plastic bag and was missing the rods for the trim guide. It looks new but makes me wonder if it is a refurb or something. It isn't the way it rolled off the Ridgid manufacturing line.No idea how to get the missing parts.

Nunca he utilizado la marca Ridgid, pero el router se aprecia de excelente calidad, detalles, potencia y acabados; el cable es de hule (y no de vinil, que cambia de rigidez con el clima frío o caluroso) el motor es muy silencioso y se siente de buena calidad, tiene luz led integrada y velocidad variable; el kit incluye guías y una base de acrílico de perfecto acabado y apariencia, así como una fresa recta de 1/4 con balero guía, qué tambien se ve de buena calidad. El kit viene en un estuche de lona muy bonito y bienhecho. En fin me gustó mucho la compra y en cuanto lo estrene, complementaré mis comentarios.

I was able to make pocket grooves for bed rails using the included guide. The guide featured mounting holes for additional support, which was a pleasant surprise. This little tool performed flawlessly. The adjustable speed was nice so I could control my cuts better. The included bag is great for protecting my investment and they included a bit, as well. Another quality Ridgid product.

This is the smallest router I've ever seen. For small pieces of wood, I hold the wood in my left hand and hold the little router in my right hand. Many little router jobs can be free-handed this way. If I feel the need, I clamp the wood to the workbench in a cabinet maker's vice. The little router seems to have unlimited power to do any of my projects. If the project is with a longer, heavier piece of wood, I resort to my series 618 DeWalt router with half-inch chuck, which is mounted upside down under my workbench. It makes a perfect combination. For the last ten years, I was using a medium sized Makita router for everything. This two-router system is much more satisfactory. I just love this little Ridgid router.

Just discovered palm/trim router's for use in the field and I'm hooked. Do yourself a favor, save space, time, and energy if you you use them at least a few times a week. Enough power has finally been stuffed into the small size to be worth it. Feels natural in the hand and solid.

I checked out quite a few trim routers and this one seemed to be the most comfortable to hold and use. It conforms to your hand which in turn gives you excellent control. This is my first Ridgid tool and am well satisfied. A little quirky to make minor adjustments, but easily overcome. Noise level is on a par with the other boys out there. Longevity is to be seen but a slip that came with the router indicates that if you register it on line it will extend the warranty to "Lifertime". How can you go wrong?Update: Had to return it as the bits kept loosening. Not too safe. A real shame as this is the most comfortable Trim Router I ever used. Maybe a defective one.
