The boot has a low, yet snug fit around the ankle and the Velcro cinch strap helps secure the foot in the boot while skating. They feature an adjustable black toe stop for greater braking control.

Love the color and the durableness of this skate. Order at least 1 size larger than normal if you are putting on thick socks as it is very well cushioned.

I have ordered 2 pairs of ridell skates for my son. One pair last year for Christmas and a new pair this year (only bc he grew out of the other pair). He absolutely loves them! He loves to skate and he loves how these feel on his feet!

Fyi all sizes are stated as men's size (even the ones not clearly men sz/women sz). I was concerned when I ordered the "6" when the "mens 6/women's 7" was showing unavailable. But..They are exactly what we needed ( ladies 7)She loves them, says they are very comfortable, and I'd just ecstatic. These were her Valentine's Day gift from me ( mom). I'm glad she gets this great exercise ( she's 16) and wants to duo this rather than get into trouble somewhere..so I'm all about supporting this activity for my daughter-thanks forfor the great price & fast delivery.

The toe stops aren't very good and kept falling out. I replaced them within a week of use. For beginners, the skates are great but I'll be upgrading the wheels soon. I ordered two sizes down and they fit great

I have just gotten into roller skating and these are perfect! Very comfortable and they feel very solid. Had to adjust the trucks a little upon arrival, but after I did that they felt just great. The sizes run a little big, I got a women's 7 (they fit perfectly) and normally I wear a 7.5. Couldn't have had a better experience with my first skate purchase.
