These controllers are a pretty good deal at this price point. The buttons feel nice and firm. However the d-pad seems to be an axis rather than buttons and both controllers had about a -.37 vertical drift at resting which caused some problems with the game I was trying to ply them with, ufo50 on steam. These issues were fixed using steam's controller config options. Most other programs will have deadzone configuration too so this is only slightly annoying.Other than that, after you set them up they are good controllers and I can reccomend them.

Using this on my laptop, my daughter set up my favorite super nes game on an emulator for me, she did have to adjust some settings to get it to work, I don't know About response time because my game is turn based, but it works great for me!!

This controller has a good feel (to me at least) and for the price hard to beat.I'm running an snes emulator on linux, and this controller is working well with that setup. The only thing with these no name controllers, is exactly that, if I run a lsusb command in terminal, the device merely shows up as an ID number and no description (ie no name, where as all other equipment on my usb bus has a manufacturer description/name), whether or not this is responsible for the following bug:I run ubuntu 18 and retroarch 1.19, which in order to work with this controller, I have to plug in the controller after the emulator has been started for it to bind, which happens right away and once bound this controller works smoothly for gameplay.

These controllers did just what I wanted. Cabled, so no interruptions in signal. I did have to have them on the same USB bus to have them both show up in OpenEmu, but after that, the play was smooth and fun. Great gadgets!

As others have stated, the d-pad is off-center. (For me, it often registers up-left or down-left when I press up or down). On the other hand, these were extremely inexpensive. Great for games where precise timely input is not required like RPGs, bad otherwise (even for kids — why frustrate them so badly?). Not returning, but won’t be able to keep as much wear off nicer controllers as I’d hoped.

Controllers are fine. Build quality feels a bit bad but that's fine for this price

I play a lot of older games on PC and I like to have the SNES controllers for a more authentic kind of feel to them. I had a pair of controllers for a few years that started to bug out on me so I picked up some new ones. After dropping the controller once or twice, suddenly the A button has stopped working. No matter how many times I press it, I get exactly one A press before it stops working. So I went to look for the second one that was supposed to come with it, and found that I had only received one.
