I'm not sure who determined this would work with SimpliSafe sensors but they do not. The sensor stays too close to the magnet so it never detects a disconnect even though the door is completely open. It might work for a different sensor but not what I needed it for.

Works great on my garage door. Now I get instant alerts from my Ring alarm system when the garage opens, instead of the long delay I always seemed to get when using MyQ app. Is a simple garage open sensor, but also one that just works. I did have to tweak the magnet placement to get it to work reliably, but that was not a problem.

This is my second purchase and because it worked so well I needed a second one for a vacation home. This garage door sensor holder is a great design that works with gravity and is really easy to install. It has adhesive already placed but also comes with 2 screw holes for placement. It works perfectly with our Simplisafe sensor.

Great, muti brand garage door sensor hinge. I have a Ring alarm system and the sensor worked perfectly with no issues. Swings open when the garage door is opened and closed when the garage door is closed. My garage door gets direct afternoon sung so I opted to install with screws. I would recommend you do also if your garage door gets afternoon sun. The adhesive backing will melt and the hinge will likely fall off no matter the brand. Just how it is and not the manufactures fault.

This is a really cool idea, it lets me use any normal door/window sensor as a garage door tilt sensor.You just locate it on the inside of the top panel of your garage door. You can use the included double sided tape to secure it in place. When the door opens the sensor swings down away from its magnet to trigger the switch. You put it on the top panel so it will trigger when the door starts to open (if you put it on a lower panel the door can open a lot further before the sensor trips)I have mine working with a simplisafe door sensor right now. It works well. I may add another one of these to use with an Aqara door sensor to trigger home automations (the simplisafe integration to my home automation system can be a little slow at times)This is a good solution for alarm systems that don't have an option to add a tilt sensor, it takes all the hassle and guesswork out of lining up the sensor and magnet on your garage door.

Simple install and compatible with multiple sensors. Works great with ring sensors, but also fits our adt sensors! Strong adhesive makes the install a breeze!
