Appears to work but have not tried it out in pool yet. Time will tell when pool is opened in a couple of weeks due to.cold weather staying around.

I purchased this item because 85 reviews gave it 4.3 stars but, after fully charging the unit and placing it in the pool the Vidapool robot made 2 maybe 3 trips across our above ground pool and at the end of the third trip it parked it's self against the side of the pool . I was able to turn it around using the pool pole but it simply went to the other side and parked. I retrieved the unit and charged it once again only I charged it for 24 hours . Got home and once again placed the unit in the pool it did exactly the same thing. I also noticed that while it was actually running across the pool I could visually see the the pollen that it was running over blew right back into the pool. There for I am returning the unit and would recommend not purchasing this unit to anyone and I would give it a complete negative star if that where possible. Apier has this type of unit that is sold at our local Pinchapenny pool and spa service as well as at Walmart I think I'll try 1 of the Apier units as they are sold in retail stores .

It basically goes straight to a pool wall and stops. Is sucks up a lot of stuff but I have to push it around with the net handle. Disappointed that I can't drop it in and come back later. 2 Star because I have cleaned a lot while giving it a push off the wall every couple of minutes.

This little guy does a pretty good job!Swept up more than expected.Unit is propelled by the water jet exhaust of the vacuum.Runs in one direction for about 30 seconds, then reverses.Tends to run back and forth in the same path, with only currents in the water making it change it path.Would like to see it have more battery for longer duration.

This pool vacuum is great! It runs for about 30 minutes then you have to fish it out and empty it and charge it back up, but it’s effective and helps keep sediment from collecting on the bottom of the pool. I’d rather have it than not!

I got the is Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner, and I have to say, it is great for keeping my pool clean. It’s perfect for above-ground and flat pools. The best part? It's cordless!
