Car Audio Fanatics wanting big bass can rely on the Prime R2D2-10 subwoofer. This 10” subwoofer handles 250 Watt RMS and the 4-Ohm Dual Voice Coil design lets you to wire them in various configurations.
These drivers can pump out the bass due to their mica injected polypropylene cone, and their stamp-cast baskets with spider venting - typically reserved for more expensive models - keep the motor running cool! These R2 subwoofers are optimized for sealed and vented enclosures.

Bought this to replace the sub in my rockford fosgate speaker box amp combo. This fit and wired right up as the original was a dual voice coil as well. Sounds very good.

La bocina se siente de muy buena calidad, la instalé en un cajón sellado de 20 litros y conexión a 4 ohms. El fabricante recomienda sellado de 14 a 21 litros, pero se siente que le falta cajón. Suena muy bien para ser 1 y creo que con 2 ya es muy fuerte potenciaEn cuanto al sonido, patea muy bien y en cierta música suena como porteado, mueve mucho aire. Trae un empaque para que selle muy bien al fijar al cajón y también incluye los tornillos y una llave para colocarlosLa conseguí en oferta a 1065 y es barato para lo que se recibe, es muy buen producto

Rockford Fosgate never lets me down. I used to have two punch p2's that were over 10 years old. Removed both from my old vehicle and installed one in my truck, it still worked fine but shattered the plastic dust cover on the cone, installed the second one and same happened after a few months(the plastic was old and yellowed by the sun)Anyways, come to find out that the current p2's are too deep to install in my tiny truck box so i decided to give this little prime sub a shot since it would fit and was only 50 bucks. Man for an entry level sub I'm very impressed. Mind you that it doesn't hit nearly as hard, get to the low lows, and isn't as loud overall as my old p2's. But oh boy am I happy with this thing. I will continue to exclusively buy rockford and only rockford. I run punch 6.5s in my doors, punch 4x6s in the rear, and this sub is powered by the newest model of the prime 500x2 amp wired up in 2 ohms.If rockford made head units I'd buy that too.

This is my first sub woofer (for an automobile). I used it in my 89 Wrangler YJ. The bass is strong with the gain is low. In the picture, you can see it installed on the box. I drilled 3 holes for the 3 connectors to go into. The only issue I had was the power connector (off-on switch) was shorter than the other two connectors. Each of the 3 connectors come with a nut to tighten it down from the inside. I only used 1/2 inch plywood, and the power switch was not long enough to use the nut. But, there is 4 screw holes to hold the adapter. It works as advertised. The amperage for the usb connector is 2.4, higher would be nice. The blue color is nice, not too bright. The voltage output display is great to have. Overall, I like it and would buy it again.

I purchased 2 of these 10" subs to give my 96' Plymouth voyager some more bass along with 2 6.5" and 2 6 by 9 Rockford Fosgate Prime series speakers I have the subs running off of a Haffler MSE80di amp bridged in parallel in a dual single center port box facing the inside of the rear hatch and they rock! Way more thump than I was expecting for what I paid. I have to fix my rear view mirror every few minutes because it vibrates out of place. They are tough too. Built like high end Rockford equipment. I have bottomed out the voice coil multiple times in the process of tuning them and they still thump like crazy. I am completely satisfied.In my photo you see the board in the port - just a divider for the subs to run with individual ports for slight sound quality improvement.Hope this helps!

Good sub for the right price. Does not require too big of a sealed box to get some nice pounding bass. I use one for my older Grand prix.The others subs I have used is the Dayton Audio HO. Their really is no comparison to the Dayton Audio. The Dayton Audio just out of the box you can tell it is a big very heavy well put together sub. The Dayton Audio sounds great and hits much lower in even a smaller box then the Rockford Fosgate but the comparison is unfair since the Dayton Audio cost almost 4 times as much. You would expect it to be a much better sub.My other sub was an Infinity Sub. The Infinity required a slightly bigger box then the Rockford Fosgate but hit a little bit lower.For the money though it is hard to beat the Rockford Fosgate. It does not require much power to get the bass started. It sounds even better after a brief break in period.I can recommend and would not hesitate to buy it again.RME
