You can add a top and use this woodworking table as a mobile shop stand, work table, or outfeed table.
  • Two Positions: The vertical position of this heavy duty cart with wheels allows passage through a service door as narrow as 30'', and provides a more compact footprint when not in use. Add a solid top (not included) as a work table, for use as a work table when not needed as a panel cart
  • 4 Rubber Wheels For Smooth Running: Our shop stand has four rubber wheels with 4” casters that roll smooth over any surface. This panel cart can run smoothly on all kinds of surfaces like: tile, asphalt, carpet, concrete, etc.
  • Rigid Steel Frame (150lbs Capacity): This heavy-duty, mobile table cart has a rigid steel frame construction, which is sturdy and durable. The universal mobile cart has a top frame length of 36'' & a top frame width (adjustable from 22'' to 30-1/4'')
  • Expandable Top: These woodworking tools top allow convenient loading if you store your sheet stock on edge, a common space-saving practice in small shops. With the Material Mate tool cart, the sheet can be transferred from the rack with minimal repositioning.

These are very solid, heavy, and well-built carts/stands. I bought them to mount my solar panels and be able to roll them into different positions to face the sun. I also love that they tilt so I can change the angle toward the sun. They were easy to put together. Very pleased with this purchase. I actually bought a second one after trying the first one to see what it would be like. The only thing is that for my purpose it would be great if there were four swivel casters instead of two. I make it work, though. These also lock into place to keep everything from moving around, even in a strong wind. Would definitely buy these again.

I should have gotten this years ago! This is a very solid piece of equipment and much easier to us to move around sheets of plywood. I also added a bench top so this now doubles up as a mobile work station when I’m not moving wood. The casters are great and this thing does not budge when locked. I would highly recommend this.

This is a great product. It was a gift for my husband. Much easier and safer way to move large pieces across the property to the shop.

The cart seems to be ok. Just put it together but there were no instructions in the box. I had to look at the picture on the outside of the box and guess where all the bolts and nuts went. I’m not impressed with that part of the product. I’m sure I did not put the two different kinds of nuts on the right bolt. We will see how it works now.

I just assembled one of these carts and had some issues.FIRST: All the hardware is metric. The manual is written as if the hardware is Imperial (SAE). For instance, part #1 is NOT a "1/4" lock nut" it's a 10mm lock nut! This is true for all the hardware; you'll need metric tools to put this together. The biggest liability here is that these metric bolts are slightly smaller than their SAE equivalents. This means the casters are attached to the frame with smaller bolts, and since the hex-head on the M6 bolts is smaller than the hex-head on a true 1/4"x20 bolt, the M6 bolts DON'T FIT THE CASTERS. They're too small and one side can actually slip into the caster hole. See photo #1. It was necessary to add some true 1/4" washers here to prevent this from happening. See Photo #2.SECOND: The location of the Safety Locking Pin lanyard (i.e. facing inward, vs. facing outward) is irrelevant. In fact, the photo on the instruction booklet itself contradicts the instructions therein! The photo shows the lanyards attached on the inside of the support members, while Step 5 in the instructions say "Attach a Safety Locking Pin (8) to the outside face of each Vertical Support (20)." Ultimately, it doesn't matter, so whichever way you've built the thing up to this point is fine. Regardless, note that Fig. 3 is WRONG here. The M6 bolt (remember, it's not a 1/4" bolt) goes through the lanyard piece, and then into the support member, not the other way around!THIRD: Personally, I feel there is too much room between the frame assembly brackets and the vertical supports (i.e. at the pivot point). See photo #3. I may get some thick 12mm nylon washers and put them in there. I'll also grease those shoulder bolts because that's metal-on-metal in there.FOURTH: On Step 6, you're supposed to install rubber bumpers. Mine came pre-installed, so that's cool!FINALLY: Now that I've got it built, I must say this thing is a beast, and I'm happy with my purchase. I intend to top it with an MFT-style piece of MDF, and built a cabinet below for extra storage. It's another great Rockler product; I just wish they'd update their instruction manual, and at the very least post an updated one as a PDF on their website. Oh, and they need to address the caster-bolt issue mentioned above as this (I believe) can turn into a safety issue.

I should have bought one of these carts for my cabinet shop years ago. I keep all my sheet goods standing in a rack and it has always been a struggle to lay a sheet down, then pick it up and put it on the table saw or bench. The struggle is over. I thought I might need to modify to make a little stronger or to fit my needs, nope... It's perfect.

Every shop should have this. So far, I have used it mostly to help in wheeling 4x8 sheets of maple plywood that I am using for walls in my new workshop. Handling these sheets alone for an older guy was very difficult. So much easier with this cart. I wheel the sheet to the location, tip it up to the wall and I am ready for installing. When that use is finished, I have a great table to use up to what ever equipment I am using. I put furniture grade plywood on the top and on the bottom for a shelf. I could not be happier with this. More than what I was expecting. Every shop should have one. Wheels around great too.
