The RDAC5 works well except for a conflict in Rockville reviews. One review claims the knob controls headphones and RCA output Another review claims headphones only. Mine is the latter. However, with an adapter cable, the headphone output can drive the RCA inputs of an amplifier.

I got this to raise the SPL on some JBL headphones with inadequate volume. (It's a unique problem with the JBL model; other headphones I have are OK. But I digress.)It solved that problem nicely.It did introduce a noise, which was pesky. I haven't had time to troubleshoot the setup to see if it's cable or grounding or what. Using it with a PC.
