I have a full DJ rig but wanted to also set up a small system with just the basics for gigs where a sound system is already in place and I don't need anything fancy, just a simple setup that is brief case size or slightly larger. This mixer is set up basically for what I need for this. A few stereo line channels, a crossfader, a USB/MP3 channel and Bluetooth and a mic input and a nice, compact size. This has it all, but when I switched to Bluetooth mode, it sounded like a fax machine or old dial up internet connecting. Not real loud, but enough to be annoying and unprofessional sounding. The mic input worked okay. The size and features are perfect or what I need, but the Bluetooth noise has me thinking of returning this. The only reason I'm considering keeping this is because I can hook an external Bluetooth reciever to one of the RCA line inputs, because the rest seems to work fine for my needs in the new setup, but I spent the extra money to get this mixer with Bluetooth instead of the non-Bluetooth version to have that feature built in.

I get this is a budget mixer but the sound quality is just terrible, especially via phono connection. I only ordered this mixer because my Ecler rotary was delayed for delivery. I connected two BRAND NEW Technics MK7 TT with brand new Ortofone setups to this mixer and the grounding connection that is built into the mixer is extremely poor quality with constant humming and static due to the connection. I spent a few hours messing with the ground connections on the mixer but I never could get the hum and static to subside. I am sure this mixer is great for line use via mp3, cdj, etc but don't waste your time if you are connecting turntables to this mixer. Also, the overall sound quality is very poor.

Easy to use. Perfect for going back-n-forth between the two techniques 1200’s turntables. Added bonus is the Bluetooth tech to pair up the playlist from the old iPhone. Gets lots of use on the daily & seems pretty tough/durable. Owned for quite awhile now without any issues.

I'm not doing anything fancy with this unit; I'm just using it to route two turntables into a Sonos Connect device and crossfade from one to the other. But I could do a lot more with it. It has great sound and gives me more control over the sound and volume. I plan to try out the Bluetooth and USB/Computer connections at some point. For the price, you can't beat this as a great intro mixer.

I am running sound and DJ-ing a wedding event this weekend and when I test drove my PA setup I realized that my Gem Sound DJ mixer had a short circuit in the main output channels and died and as result I was in a really bad spot! I scrambled to find a solution that would not be super pricey and found this Rockville RDJ2 mixer! I was skeptical because of the super low price. I read through tons of reviews and decided to order. This little gem was on my doorstep in 2 days and I fired it up last night. The construction is metal and actually pretty nice. The knobs are decent, the sliders are decent and everything feels functional and for my needs I believe that this will do the trick. I have Mackie and Behringer mixers and of course the dial controls have a much more fluid feel but these mixers are 3 or 4 times the price of this Rockville. I would suggest this to anyone who needs a functional DJ mixer that allows for up to 5 inputs (including the USB). If I was scheduling alot of gigs I would likely spend extra for a Numark or similar but I am not playing a festival in Vegas anytime soon. I am not a mix master mashup type guy, I simply play music at events and make announcements. I have two laptops connected and running through 400 watts of amps and Behringer speakers and this mixer sounds crisp and pure no distortion. Note that the microphone input is 1/4" mono not an XLR but I use the Mackie to handle the mics anyway. The output to the headphones provides plenty of volume to cue up the songs while the PA is cranking out the music. The mic cue switch is not something I would use as when you flip the switch it pulls the music way to low in the mix, I have always simply pulled the fader down as I make announcements and then push the fader back up for the music to move the room again. The only concern that I have is not with the mixer but rather the power supply as it is a little flimsy wall wart cell phone charger looking thing and feels a bit cheaply made. I will likely buy an extra power supply as a back up but in all honesty I may just buy another Rockville and stash it as a backup! The mixer comes with a decent user manual and a warranty card. Nice packaging as well. I am completely blown away at the low price for what you are actually getting with this nice little mixer. Do your self a favor and give this mixer a shot, I am glad that I did!

Small, sounds great, and lots of features including Bluetooth and USB. The only downside, and perhaps it’s not a downside lol is the paint is chipping off. There is a lot of branding on this product and ironically you can see from the photos the words “level” under the level faders are almost disappeared! Maybe I’ll get out some acetone and remove it all! Completely unbranded and I’ll make people guess which knob or fader is which!

I've been putting together my old turntables, and such, and this mixer works PERFECTLY for my home. I am not technically savvy, but have many "old school" albums that I wanted to inter-mix. This unit is small/compact, and does have ability to connect devices via USB, and has Bluetooth capability, but that's not my thing! Nice to know that I can though. Really great for the price. By the way....does not come with "any" cables (audio) except for the power cord!!! Shipping was incredibly fast!!!

Wow, what a great little mixer for an affordable value. Bluetooth? wow, my high end mixers don't even have native bluetooth. Amazing - This is the perfect item to purchase and put in a drawer for backup or gifting to a friend. Here's the issue: It's got 4 inputs but only 2 channels and bluetooth takes up a channel. That's as described but it just feels like the company should have designed this differently.Another significant issue is when you turn down all of the equalizer controls for one channel that channel does not entirely mute.MY BIGGEST PROBLEM? (This is clearly indicated in the item photo) There is no mid control. None. Do you know how important mid equalizer control is? It's really important. The USB only works for usb input of music files on a drive. It's not for recording, it's not for midi. It sucks and uses a channel as wellI'm giving it five stars because it is exactly as described an works exactly as described but it's not the correct mixer for me.
