This rod works great with rod pocket, grommet, and ring supported draperies. The rod's solid metal design with 1/2 inch plastic ends hold the rod in place without marking the mounting surface.

Works well, not as sturdy as others but I didn't expect it to be considering the price.

I was looking for something to fit under my antique church pew to hide the storage containers that we store under it. My daughter suggested some short curtains. I needed a sturdy and long tension rod due to the length of the church pew. I ordered this tension rod and it's perfect! It not only fits great, but is also strong and sturdy. It helps makes the whole room look complete. 😍

One of the rooms in my home opens onto another room, with no door between them. I purchased this spring rod and a pair of room darkening curtains, and the rooms are now separated. Since the curtains have wide grommets, I needed no hooks or other contraptions with which to hang them. All I did was snake the curtain rod through the grommets. Perfection! Here is a link to the blackout curtains that I paired with this rod:https://a.co/d/5doj6cu

Bought this to put up heavy curtains to divide our room from the baby. Have been using for around 3 months now and was very easy to install, very sturdy, and has not needed to be adjusted since.

I'm so glad I chose to buy this! It was a worthwhile investment. Super easy to set-up! During poor weather and throughout the Covid-19 closure of the laundry room in my apartment complex, I had plenty of laundry to handwash. I set this rod up in the very middle of my shower above the level of my head for drip-drying clothes. Works very well. I also plan to use this rod to hang a gorgeous humidity-loving spider plant, fern, or orchid, at the far end my shower. It's wonderfully sturdy.

It looks like this rod is currently $90? Well, not sure of that's an error, but I paid $9 for it and couldn't be happier. Not much you can get for $9 these days. And... it's a rod. A rod that works! No nails or extra effort required except using the spring tension inside the rod to hang a curtain on.

Small update to my original review below: Still rattle-y and bending a but more, but I can see the seam busting a little too, showing the spring inside. It's okay for now but more than likely it'll have to be trashed soon.---Wanted to make the desk area of my loft bed a little cozier so I bought this as an easy way to hang some sheers. While it works, it's very thin and rattle-y, and even with lightweight sheers it still bends very slightly in the middle. I don't even have it stretched far, only about 58 inches. Took a lot of tension to make sure it stayed put too. Also a bit disappointed there's no white color, but spray paint will definitely stick to it.If you're looking to get this for some heavier curtains or a shower curtain I'd advise to look for something else. This will only hold lightweight, thin curtains and even at that it takes a lot of tension and you can't pull too hard.
