One of the straps won’t open. Jammed tighter than my brother in law’s wallet. Bad quality control.Addendum:I forced the strap open with a big f🤬 screwdriver. Filed down the nubs and got the strap to function.

I replaced the old ones on my boat, same brand. Hope they last as long as the old ones did. How long did the original ones last? Not sure, They were on the boat when I bought it nine years ago, and did not look new when I bought it. Old ones were still working, but it was time. TSR Garage.

Clamping works fine. These are the shorter tie downs, I used my previous straps as I tie to the upper boat handled and trailer.

Product is a little on the hassle side of things making sure you get locked in right but once it's locked its pretty tight. I would give it more stars but my right strap on the starboard side doesn't even stay tight anymore even when I lock it down. Pretty disappointed since it's pretty new and only took the boat out once.

I had to replace the tie downs that came with my boat, I had one break as I was putting it on after a fishing trip. These are made so much better. I don't think I have to worry about these breaking, very well made.

I was surprised how sturdy these tie downs are. I am using them to hold a wheelchair in place in a van that had crappy tie downs. These saved the day as an add on to what was installed by the wheelchair van sales people and didn't reach where they were supposed to reach.
