My 10 year old son and I assembled this together. The instructions were easy to follow, it was easy to assemble, the pieces fit together very well. I was quite impressed with the overall quality.

It was a very short and easy build but still fun and worth the price.The design is really nice like all other Rokr products. I don't understand the reviews at all where people mention having to hold together with glue or tape or something. Sounds like they put it together incorrectly. Looks like they improved the design and they now include plastic parts so that the internal moving parts will last much longer than if you build the entire thing from wood (they still include the wooden internal parts though if you still want that).The only issue is that the parts are a VERY tight fit and you need to carefully assemble or you will break something. I ended up using a piece of scrap wood in order to push the parts in place because of how much force it takes. I think you need to be older than 14 to put this together by yourself just due to the strength that is needed. Also be very careful when pushing the wooden parts out and don't force if they aren't coming out cleanly. Try pushing from the other side. I was being very careful and I've put some of these type things together already but I still had a couple of the small interconnects break on me. Thankfully they included extras. The gun works great when assembled. The only weird thing is that once I put on the rubber bands and cock the gun, the first trigger pull doesn't shoot. The next 6 work just fine but it always shoots a blank for the first shot. It might be user error though (I'm only an engineer!).

My son loved this. 14yrs old. The hammer broke. An extra one was included however, once this is put together it is impossible to take apart again without causing more breakage. It was still worth the purchase just be gentle with the hammer part.

Like all ROKO kits very nice assembly pretty logical but you have to pay attention. Good is that the parts are tight when you get them on, pieces will not fall off as you are putting it together. Bad is that most of the parts are too tight. You have to sand, file, and wax about 80 percent of the pieces. So you need round needle files, small flat files, sandpaper which comes with kit, and wax also comes with. All the holes you need to enlarge, and corners you need 45. use the most needle files to enlarge the round holes. Wax everything. I personally do not put the springs in as so small sometimes they fly uout when you try to install and I don’t want my dog to find one and eat one.

Fun to put together and play around with. Rarely does it hurt when you get hit with the elastics. Wear your eye protection however. Certainly has a different vibe than a nerf gun fight because reloading takes some time.This model was the easiest and quickest to put together of the many models we have. If you like guns, if you like putting together things like Lego, this is cheaper and longer entertainment than a movie.

Excellent gifts!!! We gave them to 9 year old and 11 year old boys - and neither had trouble putting them together. Super fun and they look very nice when complete! Will be purchasing more as gifts!

Received a box were all pieces were already detached, partially assembled and some broken.You could literally hear the loose pieces before you open it and the box being squished from the start is what made me verify the item cause it's made out of wood and it was to be a gift. Returned immediately.

I'll admit, I was hesitant to buy this. I worried, with it being a build-it-yourself gun made from wood, that it would be flimsy or the functionality would be terrible.I was pleasantly surprised when it far exceeded all of my expectations. The gun was easy to put together, and the individual pieces are much sturdier than I thought they'd be! Its worth mentioning that every single piece has an insane amount of detail. Whoever designed this product took the time to really make this look as genuine as possible. The product comes with tons of rubber band ammo, and it shoots really well! The gun comes with extras of the functional pieces, which I really appreciated. All in all, don't hesitate to buy! It will meet or exceed your expectations.
