Its a lot of fun putting this clock together. You have to be patient and have experence putting these type of puzzles together before attempting this one. The weight required to run the clock is 2 to 3 times more than they recomend. I filled my weight with nuts bolts and bb's a soda can is the perfect size to keep the.paper from buldging out. Last thing ... i recomend using bar soap instead of wax to grease the cogs. Dont be stingy with the soap.

This appears to be a high quality product, and based on the 4- and 5-star reviews, others must have had better luck than I.When I opened package, I found that the parts board were warped. I am speculating a bit, but I have to think that maybe sandwiching the miscellaneous parts bag between the boards contributed to this.I also noted that some parts were missing from the miscellaneous parts bag.I emailed Wooden.City support about the missing parts and the warped boards. They told me that yes, the warped boards sometimes occur, but they made no mention of how to rectify that problem. They also told me that they would ship the missing parts if I provided my address and phone number. I provided the requested information and asked what to do about the warped boards. It is one month later, and I have not received the parts nor have I received any further email feedback.I thought I would try to assemble the clock anyway and see what happens... maybe by removing the parts from the boards, they would be less warped. No such luck, the parts remain warped. At least one of the wooden dowels is also slightly warped. At this point, I suspect that any more time spent on this kit will be wasted.I bought the kit last October and waited until January (well outside the return window) to open it, so not being able to return it is on me. For that reason, as well as the reality that others have had better luck than I, I give it 2 stars instead of 1.

I have bought similar in the past for my husband and all have been successful. This wooden clock has kept my husband quiet for a few weeks now. He spends a couple of hours a day putting the clock pieces together. Still not quite complete yet so I haven't taken photos. Brilliant gift for someone mechanically minded. This will be a fairly large piece once finished but all the more fascinating to look at. The instructions to build are clear and my husband is enjoying building the clock.

Beides kannte ich noch gar nicht und wird jetzt erstmal mein neues Hobby. Vor allem zur Weihnachtszeit wo man Zeit hat. Schöne gemütlich zu Hause bei der Familie sitzen und dabei diese Uhr zusammensetzen.Ich stimme der Rezensentin „DieGräfin“ zu, das dies beliebte Sammlerobjekte werden können – oder vielleicht schon sind.Da ein Datum hinten im Einleger aufgebracht wurde, gibt es vielleicht schon eine Community die solche Objekte sammelt.Ich werde meine Verpackung aber öffnen und an Weihnachten schön gemütlich mit einer Tasse heißem Tee und ein paar Plätzchen zusammensetzen. Ich freue mich schon wie Bolle aufs zusammensetzen der Uhr. :)Okay, ich sehe gerade das es noch gaaaaanz viele Modelle wie Autos, Motorräder als Limited Edition gibt. Dies nur am Rande, falls Sie auch nach dem Video oder gar nach weiteren Modellen schauen wollten.Das Puzzle hat 421 Teile, die Montagezeit wurde mit 8 Stunden angegeben.Der Schwierigkeitsgrad wurde als „Schwierig“ eingestuft. (5 von 5)Die Einzelteile wurden mit einem Laser ausgeschnitten und sitzen passgenau im Rahmen.
