Works fine but you do not have direct visibility of the device LED when battery becomes low. I have suffered through a show when the battery died on me without any warning.Works as intended but make sure your batteries are always fresh.

Awesome wireless patch change for midi enabled guitar fx pedalboards like Roland and Boss GR-55, GP-10, GR-20, VG-99. I use it with a phone app for GR-55. Makes it painless without usb and computer needed to do so otherwise!

This works very well, at a good distance. If you have an external board or using a keytar, works very well.

Was very hopeful that this would work on my Akai EWI 4000. Sadly the width of the connectors at the end make it impossible to connect both ends to the MIDI plugs on the EWI. If the pins were rotated by 90-degrees it would work, but the MIDI jacks on the EWI are very close together, so I had to return this.

Using it with a older "Keytar" midi out and it drives apps on my iPad Pro great!

I needed a wireless replacement for a MIDI cable. MIDI devices are meant to be daisy-chained. I have several devices in my chain. My MIDI controller is in front of me and my guitar rig is behind me. I wanted to eliminate the long cable connecting the controller and the rest of my chain. I was able to use this product, but I needed to buy 2, and I needed to buy a MIDI cable splitter to make one of them work. For some reason, in order for the device to function at all, its MIDI OUT connector must be hooked up. However, this is impossible without a MIDI cable splitter since MIDI OUT on my amplifier has to connect to the next device in my chain. The splitter allows me to connect the WM-1's MIDI OUT to the amp's MIDI OUT while also passing the signal through to the next MIDI device. The WM-1 hanging off of my MIDI controller has the MIDI IN portion hanging in the wind since it's useless. Until a company designs a good MIDI cable replacement, this device will work, but it's expensive and kludgy.
