I purchased this product, installed all the drivers on my computer, and printed my first page only to find the quality was terrible. The print was fuzzy and unclear. They advertise this printer as ‘quiet,’ but it’s louder than my ex yelling at me. I reached out to customer support and had to send an email. While I responded immediately to their replies, they took a full day to get back to me each time. Their responses were short usually one or two words and often included just an image. After only two email back and forth, they stopped responding entirely. It’s now been 9 days, and I haven’t heard back. This is such a disappointing product. If you’re reading this and considering a thermal printer, I strongly recommend buying one in-store instead.

The printer works great when it works. Sometimes the print job will go but the printer says it’s busy and will not print. A reset starts the print queue again but I’ve never had to do this with a Star printer.

This is a really great printer! Its easy enough to set up just use the app to install! It seems like it prints slow at 1st but then prints pretty quick. Good compact size.

As an event photographer, I like to print receipts on the spot for people because the moment you start doing emailed or some type of electronic receipt, you get the one person that holds up the line requesting a print out and who has time to write one up when you’ve got a line of 15 families staring at youIt prints Very well and does exactly what it supposed. toI basically use a simple setup that has a square rotating iPad holder with a built-in card reader plus I also use a wireless card reader as it does the chips and This device is ethernet connected so I can’t use it on the system currently and it’s really gonna be used for my desktop units. Send receipts with the online purchases.Now I am curious to see if there is a Bluetooth to ethernet adapter out there or interface that would allow me to use this also as a wireless device. This is a thermal printer for printing receipts specifically. Everything works as expected. No paper jams, clear prints every time No problems. Happy with the purchase so far

Fast and easy use for this printer. It is not plug-and-play. Must have some technical knowledge if you want to use it with IP. If installed in a USB port you must remember the port used because if you unplug it and plug it back in at another USB port it will stop working. You must uninstall using the app, then restart and reinstall using the app and another restart. That is my experience with this printer. Besides this if you install it and don't mess around with the USB ports it works great and fast. Love the paper-cutting technology included.
