I play Taiko at an arcade and these sticks feel very light to play with. The grips make it hard to slip from your hands as well.

These are sturdy, but not too heavy, and the rubber grips help to prevent them from flying out of your hand during a drumming session. I like them better than plain drumstick.

Large grip, tape on ends so my sweaty hands can grip them. Use them for a drumming class

I wanted a set of drum stix with cushioned ends so they wouldn't fly out of my sweaty hands. First pair I got I sent back, the sleeves weren't attached. These are great...the other ladies all checked them out and a few bought them. Very happy with these.

I bought two pairs of these (incase one breaks and I have a backup) to go with my taiko drum set for the Nintendo Switch. They work and feel a lot better than the plastic sticks that come with the HORI taiko drum set. I've been going nuts with it and banging on the drums pretty hard and I haven't noticed any damage to the drum, so I'd say it's pretty safe to use with the HORI taiko drum without fear or damaging it.Sticks seem sturdy enough.

The extra weight really feels nicer than the plastic sticks the hori drum comes with, though i think the extra length is to blame when it comes to speed. I definitely could perform better with plastic sticks however these feel much more comfortable and the ends feel more satisfying to hit. Nice sticks 100% worth it

Perfect for regular play and a huge step up from the plastic ones, these bachi will be way more than enough for like 90% of players. In terms of wood quality, mine are durable and adequately balanced. There's not really any cons worth listing here because if you're good enough at Taiko to need nicer bachi than this, you're a total princess and you should already know you're not getting what you want in this price range lol.

First time purchasing an item like this so this is only criticism of what I see. The sticks are light with the center mass being just a bit above where the grips end on the top. The grip material gives enough cushion and seems like it can last for some time however depending on how often and strong you play it may fall apart quickly. my biggest gripe is that neither stick are the same, one has a curve to it that is much more extreme than the other and slightly thicker as well. For something this cheap I suppose you shouldn't expect matching sticks.
