The quality of the beret surpassed my expectations, although the sweatband (as expected) is not made of real leather most people probably could not tell by looking at it unless they inspected it up close and the beret itself is actually quite thick and feels warm/durable and is 100% real wool. For about $10-$15 this is quite a steal, honestly I could tell a friend that I bought the beret while in Paris for 80 euros at a hip store and they would believe me. The beret shipped in less than a week :) ! (even though I got standard shipping) and the medium size fit me perfectly (as if it were made for me) but I am also fairly skinny, a good many of you may need a large. and the drawstrings are helpful for windier/colder days if you need it extra secure. My only regret is that I didn't buy more of these, I bought the green which is great on me because I have naturally emerald green eyes and it brings out the color so I look sort of like a forest elf or peter pan or something. If I were you, I would spend $50 or so to buy multiple of these in all the colors and maybe gift a few to friends/family (it would be a perfect gift). The medium or large would fit most people and the small would probably fit most children aged 8-14. If you have a larger head you would probably need an extra large.
