The package arrived in a shipping box and inside that was a gift style box. This would indeed make a great gift presentation! The padfolio itself seems sturdy & sleek, the padded leather cover is soft and UNblemished. It arrived with a full-size pad already in it on the right side! Pockets available on the left side for business cards and other notes. Has room to keep a pen in the binder crease. Doesn't have an actual pen holder but when padfolio is closed pen doesn't fall out and I shook it a couple of times to try. I would definitely buy this again when needed!

I needed a folio that was thin and easy to take to meetings, but professional and functional. This folio by Royce is exactly what I was looking for. The craftsmanship is superb and the attention to detail is appreciated. I've previously purchased folios where the pen loop is an afterthought, with no spacing allowed for the pen/pad when closed. The design here is perfect!

The folder looks very nice. The pen holder design is simply a slit at the top of the fold, seems to be an afterthought. The cardholder and document flap on the left side is put together nicely. The writing pad is removable/replaceable. It came in a nice blue box that I would not be embarrassed to give it in as a gift. I can't tell for certain if it's real leather which would be surprising for the price, but it certainly looks and feels like real leather. I'm very pleased with the quality on initial inspection, but I will have to wait and see how durability holds up to casual use in the future.

I was so excited to order this thanks to the positive reviews; however, it did NOT meet expectations. Mine arrived in a plastic bag, not a presentation box. It was dented and dirty. The business card for the ID and the left part designed to hold sheets of 8.5 X 11 paper don’t fit. Not worth the money.

The product is nice but came with several scratches and dents on the back. It was packaged in plastic and was shipped properly so this damage must have been present before it was shipped.

I was a bit skeptical based on the price for a leather portfolio but ordered anyway. I was more than pleasantly surprised! In black, it is a gorgeous portfolio and happy with the features, appearance and quality and look forward to using. I was replacing a much more expensive old (probably over 20 years) old that is now $225 and this portfolio looks very comparable but it isn't "padded". This would be a great gift for college grads!

I am very happy with this padfolio. Before, I had to borrow my friend's portfolios for interviews and none of them looked and felt this professional. I considered buying a padfolio at a drugstore close to my campus, but I am glad I invested in this one. The leather is soft and luxurious, but not overly shiny. I love having dedicated space to write down notes during an interview or career fair at my university. This aspect makes me feel more professional when in those kinds of environments. There is a lot of space for keeping business cards and information flyers. I cannot wait to use this padfolio at my university's internship career fair this spring and in upcoming interviews!

Wow this portfolio folder screams success when you walk in the room for a meeting. I appreciate the high quality stitching and clean sumptuous design. It feels great in your hand due to the inner padding. The writing pad which is included has a classy navy binding with the Royce logo. The pen slot within the spine is ample yet discreet, and your pen nuzzles in the soft leather. I bought it for a VP level interview and before long the discussion led to tips for my next interview with other stakeholders. I highly recommend making a small investment and purchasing the Royce Leather Executive folder-it is worth every penny.
