About this item

  • IMPROVE SAFETY AND PRODUCTIVITY: Patented baffles result in less splashing while mopping and maneuvering, helping to create a safer environment. Water stays in the bucket, eliminating unnecessary trips to the storage closet to fill up the bucket.
  • 80% LESS SPLASHING: Molded-in WaveBrake baffles disrupt wave formation, reducing splash up to 80% versus leading competitors. *versus competitive U.S. 35qt single compartment mop bucket and wringer, not including divider bucket and accessories.
  • CONVENIENT TO EMPTY: The WaveBrake mop bucket is designed to safely empty water with less effort. Integrated handles, sink ledge, and a pour spout provide control while lifting and emptying, for a safe and stable emptying process.
  • INTEGRATED HANDLES AND SINK LEDGE: Lift and empty the mop bucket easily, with less strain.
  • POUR SPOUT: Helps prevent water from spilling on to floors while emptying dirty water, to help floor remain dry and safe.
  • DESIGNED TO LAST: The WaveBrake wringer is designed and built to the highest of quality standards for industrial and heavy-duty use. WaveBrake wringers have an industry-leading warranty of 5-years.
  • WRINGER: Integrated handle on wringer for easy installation and removal. Wringer base is designed to stand upright when removed, to minimize bending while emptying the bucket.
  • 5-YEAR WRINGER GUARANTEE: The side-press wringer is designed to last 5-years or 200,000 cycles.
  • SECURE WRINGER CONNECTIONS: Integrated wringer-guides ensure a secure connection to mop bucket, providing stability while wringing and maneuvering, to help prevent spills.
  • WRINGS A VARIETY OF MOP SIZES: Wringer effectively wrings a variety of mop sizes, ranging from XS – XL (10oz – 32oz).

With features that surpass traditional mop buckets, the WaveBrake® mop bucket and wringer set helps to clean floors with less effort to get the job done safer, without sacrificing quality and durability. Traditional mop buckets may cause additional spills when moving or cleaning. Patented WaveBrake® baffles result in less splashing while mopping and maneuvering, helping to create a safer environment for patrons and staff.

I wanted to order the best products out there which is why I wanted to order Rubbermaid. They did not disappoint. It is exactly what they described it as. I am extremely impressed and satisfied by your product! Thank you Rubbermaid.Also...They even delivered it a day early. You can't ask for better service than that.

I always break mop buckets when trying to ring out the mop. This bucket I can use good force and it hasn't broken in the several months I've been using it. You can remove the strainer from the bucket for easy access for filling or rinsing out.

I am so happy I bought this! It may be industrial but it makes mopping my house so much easier! Plus it has the bucket insert included so that keeps the dirty water separate. I was tired of buying the other mops because of their poor quality and the mop heads on others are so small, making it take so long to mop the house! Another thing I like about this one is that it’s black. Not that the color has anything to do with a mop bucket but so much more pleasing to see in my laundry room instead of the standard bright yellow ones!

I purchased this because I needed a quality mop bucket. It arrived on time. Price is kinda high though. Went to Sam’s club two days later and found same size mop bucket for half the price. You decide…I was planning on returning it but didn’t feel like dealing with it. So I kept it.

Brought couple other brands over the years and they will last for year of two. This product is expensive but built to last and my maid loves it. Best feature of this bucket is the press down will squeeze it to perfection. Little big for house hold but gets the work done beautifully.

When the dirty water container is 3/4 full and the clean water 1/8 full, the bucket tips over backwards with the slightest pressure - e.g. moving by pushing the mop in the bucket, letting the handle rest facing the back, or pushing backward over a concrete floor joint or power cord. Tipped over twice on me. A little experimenting showed that the center of gravity is right over the rear wheels. The wheels need to be placed further back. Poor design!

As described. Excellent compared to the old clunky bucket I used at work before

I have used this for cleaning my epoxy hangar, hardwood, concrete in unfinished basement, etc. The ringer is good and powerful, the unit is perfectly stable even when ringing. The build quality looks durable. The castoring, non marking wheels are quiet and work perfectly. It is trivial to remove and replace the ringer with one hand and I never have problems with sloshing or imbalance. Twist, squish, and repeat several times to extract nearly all water... way better than any other ringer I've used. I like the notch to hold the mop in place and also got the optional red bucket which attaches securely under the ringer and effectively makes this into two smaller buckets on one set of wheels. Using the second red bucket for capturing dirty water or as just a stand alone clean water bucket can help for super dirty jobs if you don't want to own two of these units :-) The carry handle and size are perfect for me, I have no problem moving this up and down stairs or picking it up to dump or maneuver. I am a normal sized male, but if you find it too heavy then put in less water. Frankly, I wouldn't want anything smaller as it would be a challenge to use with my normal rubbermaid mop, but just realize it will take some place to store it as it occupies the real estate of a shop vac, not just a small bucket.

So let's start by saying that I purchased this for home use. Why? Well I have a puppy that is more like a mud, dirt puppy. My house is tile and laminate. With the rain and a little digging I have not been able to keep up. Bring out the broom, roomba, tried 3 different swifter, waterjet version, dry and wet padded ones. Regular sponge mops. So the swifter were worthless and just pushed the dirt around and didn't get enough up. Switch out the pads at least twice and repeat weekly. Still the tile could be cleaner. The waterjet version was a little better but those handles break and are junk. Roomba assisted in picking up loose dirt but couldn't get it all. Standard foam mop did better but then you are replacing the heads every-time you mop and it still was pushing the dirt around. So how did I get here. Was shopping at our local Costco and noticed the price on the washable commercial mop heads. Cheap and re-usable. Product is great it rings the mop out great. Rolls around the house without spilling water. No need to lug it around. When your done just dump the water down the toilet. If you consider the cost of swifter pads, new mop heads, broken cheap retail mops. It was worth the investment. I plan buying some cheapie mop heads to clean outside area, garage. In a home environment this thing should last years. Really wrings out the mop, enough that it might be able to be used on the laminate floor. If you decide to try it on the laminate floor get the mop handle with the plastic head, so you don't scratch your floors. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005KD3XDS/ref=ya_aw_oh_pit.

1st I borrowed a mop and bucket from a friend and knew before I started that this wasn't gonna do . . .2nd I went to a local hardware super store and purchased the best mop & bucket they had in stock; it was the only one they had; a Quickie Pro or something . . . The quickie pro mop was way to big to fit in the wringer, which was flimsy. I am happy it did not break and after a through cleaning I was able to return it for a refund . . .3rd I ordered this online and I am VERY happy with my purchase. The entire mop head fits in the down-press wringer and is easy to wring dry by using your weight to depress the handle. The large bucket holds plenty of soap or water for large jobs and the large castors allow effortless movement of the bucket. The WaveBrake system works well as long as you move the bucket forwards or backwards and not side to side. So, if you have a lot of hardwood, tile, basement and patio floors, this will serve you well!

You can tell by the first time you use the down press wringer that it is a quality unit. Even the largest mop head fits properly and wrings out completely. The bucket, with it's unique wave break design is functional and is made with integrity. If you're like me and appreciate the best made things and are willing to pay a little more, then you will want this Rubbermaid Commercial WaveBrake Down Press combo. Well worth the money I spent for it from Amazon and it was shipped very quickly.
