While listed as a “speed” cube, it really isn’t. It would need far more easier and smoother action, however for what it is, it works well.

This is a great piece to have in my collection. The classic color scheme is nostalgic. It is the perfect cube for a beginner. Pricing averaging around $10, ensures that it is accessible for all, no matter your budget. This cube turns great which ensures you do not get locked up when doing more complicated algorithms. Additionally the cube is tough, so throw it across the room if you're frustrated. Most importantly, this cube has helped introduce a whole new generation of people to cubing and speedcubing. If you are looking for a challenge, don’t be intimidated, break the cube down into smaller, more manageable, steps. Use the internet as a source. Think about it in layers instead of faces. Anyone can solve the rubik’s cube, it is not rocket science. After you have learned to solve the cube is when the fun really starts. Using a timer you can track how fast you can solve the Rubik’s cube. Get faster and faster until you can impress all the ladies. This speed cube ensures that you can quickly solve the Rubik’s cube without fear of it locking up or breaking. Perhaps you're just looking for nostalgia.
