The purpose of the part to to secure the outside RV furnace screen .I installed the part and the aluminum tabs with its tiny retaining plastic pull tab is so weak and cheap ,one installed the tabs ben and the spring flwe off like a bird in flight ..Honestly we are try to protect a expensive part ( the furnace cover screen with a 10 cent piece of junk....Please Amazon get rid of this vendor as its a waste of yout time and mine ...totally RUBBISH mis -engineered , to short , to flimsy to hold any thing but a piece of paper ...IF that I buy loads of prime parts but his for sure is some kind of JOKE and its not even OVT 31st . Get REAL.

Purchased the replacement RV water heater door latch for my motorhome.The original plastic latch had finally disintegrated and I found this one.Installation was easy and it has worked fine.

Part came in a 2 pack. In my opinion, a bit pricey for the items especially without installation instructions. However a quick YouTube tutorial made for a quick install and project completed

Comes in a pack of 2 and is built with a strong metal. Better than the plastic one I previously had that busted. Used on an 08 tent trailer, likely a pretty universal fit and half price compared to most dealers.
