I use them when using any stationary jack. They keep from damaging whatever surface (pavement, concrete, dirt etc...) the vehicle being jacked up is on. They are seem to be well built and take the abuse I give them as I am rough on my tools as I expect them to handle everyday use and then some. I also use them as knee pads or put 4 to 6 together as work surface to lay on.I really like the fact they spread and stabilize the load of the vehicle. I feel safer under a vehicle when using these.

using on top of garage floor drainage tiles when jacking up the Jeep. They take the weight, very strong rubber. Bought a set of 4 and have another set of 4 coming, that's how much I like these.

I wanted these to put my jack stands on and not have them sink into the asphalt. These pads are the perfect size and very thick and they worked amazingly well!
